Sometimes I feel like stories of God's killing each other in battle came from violent interactions between men of influence who were later deified over the generations as the telephone game did it's magic.

Some Gods were based on animals, other nature, some others psychologically significant implications and some omnipresent consciousness but some had to have been based on Chieftains, Warlords, Revolutionaries, Kings and Patriarchal figures.

I love this movie. People stuck on accuracy are boring. This is a fiction movie taking place in Pre-Historic times. Its not a documentary.

The people crying about the “inaccuracy” of this film fail to understand why it was made; it wasn’t meant to be an accurate portrayal of ancient civilization, rather, an alternate/fictional reality up for interpretation (Atlanteans? Extraterrestrials? Time travellers? Et cetera) by the viewer. Not to mention simple entertainment value.
