The RTX 2060 SUPER in 2023

Any news on the RTX 3060 8GB? For what I've seen and tested, it has similar performance to the RTX 2060 Super, while the RTX 3060 12GB is very much like the RTX 2070.

i always enable gpu fans to run all the time
because my card waits 70 degrees C to start the fans
when i set it to run all the time, it is around 60c in games and not 75
so who cares if it is not silent it is better to extend the lifespan of gpu

As an Ex-PC Gamer who is looking at getting back in to it again and bought a 2060 Super from CeX for a >£650 Build, this video was very helpful and I’m excited to get to playing games again.

I’m not so up to date on GPUs anymore like I used to be so seeing performance metrics for games at 1080p60 (my setup) is invaluable, thanks for your service!

What Cpu should I pair this with?

I have an RTX 2070 super, I'm feeling the need to Upgrade. But I want to get into the latest 4000 Series (don't fancy buying a Card from the 3000 Series, want to get the latest generation.)
But here in the UK it's fucking ridiculous how expensive 4000 Cards are, like over a grand for a 4080. I was looking to get the 4070ti, but they're anywhere from £800-£950.

I've been using it on a 1080/144hz monitor paired with a 3600 and I plan to keep using this build for a while. Honestly, it's a great card that provides a solid gaming experience.

I have one and it's very good an performance its exelente, for 180$ it's good GPU 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 of course is used GPU,ñ. I think the 2070s it's another good choice for 190$

I usually play on PS5 but I found this brand new sealed on amazon and bought it, it was pretty cheap, lower than RX6600. I dont play so much on my pc, but its time to retire my 1060 6gb lol, I am looking to play on 1080p, as long as it gets 60fps I dont care much if its on high, medium.

I know that you are targeting the 60fps etc.. and maybe that is your niche here.. However i much prefer the results on max setting using the presets eg ultra, hight etc etc.. But again I play every game (older games) at 4k with everything max out and i don't mind a 30 fps averages.

I recently picked up an new asus rog gaming pc with Ryzen 5600x and RTX 2060 Super for just 470 euros and it runs every game without a single problem.

The good thing for that card, it's that it's around the perf tier of the PS5 so game developers won't be really able to ignore it.
A lot of recent games like Ratchet and Clank, Spiderman, Baldur's Gate 3 etc... have a RX 5700XT or a 2060 Super as recommended settings.

When I bought my 2070S, I thought I made a great choice.
When RTX started to get adoption, I thought I made a poor choice.
When Nvidia started to use AI, I realized I made the right choice all along.

8GB VRAM on a 256-Bit bus... I'd be spending A LOT more money to check those two boxes today.

Now they're saying it'll be 2025 before the next lineup from Nvidia... Maybe I'll get a decade out of this card before a worthy upgrade. I have a guarantee until 2025 at least.

I had the 2060S and switched to a laptop 3050 since i was starting university and i just i hadnt because i played witcher 3 on high graphics at 40 fps avg

I bought this gpu in January 2020 when i built my own pc. Its great, i sold it and bought 3060ti and looks like i will be sticking with that one for years. DLSS and with ok RT will keep 2060 relevant for years.
DLSS looks good even at 1080p which is just crazy.

My 2060S Founders was my first "Big Boy" graphics card and, paired with an i7-7700 my bro gifted me for my birthday in 2020, upgraded me from some 1gb AMD HD 7000ish card (red board, teeny tiny red fan) I threw in an eMachines prebuilt from 2007 (1-20 fps WoW raiding T_T). I've been having a blast since then, and only recently have I been wanting to upgrade to at least a 6-core+ for the newer games on the horizon.

I still have a mid gaming laptop with rtx 2060 max q on it, bought it in 2020. Its the weakest 2060 but im proud & glad its still hold up to this day

i remember the non super 20 series with early micron chip from 2018, name that starts with the number 8...., they have mass factory defect. happy to know that before i bought a 2070s years ago.

I’m running a 2060 Super and a Ryzen 2700x with 16gb RAM, does everything I want. Might upgrade CPU to Ryzen 5000 series but I’m perfectly happy with the GPU.

I've had my 1060 a good few years now, and it was 2nd hand when I bought it. It's still playing strong and still holding up with VR.....but now I have upgraded my CPU, I need to upgrade my GPU.
I can afford to spend 200....so it's either one of these vs a 5700 xt for the cheaper options, or a 6600 (xt) and a 2070 (super) for the top of my budget options.............which one??

Not activating DLSS for comparaison purpose is understandable... BUT I'm pretty sure that DLSS is one of the main selling point to a used 2060 super in 2023 and should be tested in a video that is about real case scenario of how a used card still hold up for gaming years after its release.

Just dropped one of these puppies in my Son's rig. He has a 9th gen I7 that had a 1070. I updated one of my rigs to a 3060 and gave him the 2060. Yes I have plans for the 1070.
He says it runs everything great.
