The only watch you really need is this Casio Edifice (EFV-110D review)

ERRATUM : 1/ The links are folded metal, not solid. It doesn't show at first sight because the way they are made but you can see it in between links. 2. Actually, this is a unisex watch. Some websites list it as a watch for women, others for men. None of this changes my opinion of this watch ;)

I have this watch and I have to disagree about the symmetry of the dial. The symmetry is probably the worst that I’ve ever seen in person. The 12 and 6 are the same size as each other, but the 9 is completely different size to anything else on the dial, as is the 3. In essence, this watch has 4 COMPLETELY different variants of sized batons. Once I noticed this it kind of spoiled it somewhat for me. Out of 12 batons, 4 of them are completely different sizes. This would have been much better if they would just change the 9 to the same size as the 12 and the 6. I don’t really get what they were going for to make the 9 a completely different size from everything else on the dial 😕

Nice watch, except for the mineral crystal. I only buy watches with sapphire or acrylic crystals.

No sapphire glass, no solar is deal breaker for me though it looks nice. I hoped, they made them in solar and with sapphire glass.

I saw it and falled in love, last week I found one EFV 100D, new in a store that was about to close and was selling out all left stock at ridiculous prices. I got the watch white version with leather strap for onli 50€, a great deal

This one is actually more expensive than 40mm version. Too bad they didn't make 38mm case version instead this 35mm... So I don't know which one too choose for my 16.5cm - 6.5inch wrist. I guess 40mm will be fine and more sporty. Same as Timex which is 40mm case size.

Whay about arms hairs with this bracelet?

The Edifice EFV-120DB is another great daily watch under $100. I have the blue dial reference on a blue and black NATO strap and I think it’s a great piece.

I really enjoy this watch. I have put a jubilee bracelet and leather strap with a deployment clasp on it, and both work well. It’s well worth the money.

Casio is great because there is so many choices that they have a watch for anyone. Different tastes different needs different budgets but in the end everyone can get a Casio that they will love and use for decades.

"So where's the catch?" The catch is... like most simple (without waveceptor or solar power) 3-hand Casio watches of Edifice, Lineage and MTP/MTS series, it's actually a Citizen in the Casio's casing.

Each of the edifices is a beauty. Unfortunately most of them are not for small wrist.

If you have bought this watch has I have I recommend buying Lusee watch screen protector from Amazon (uk).. I brought 30mm and it fits the watch face perfectly without overlapping the watch face which will prevent it getting caught and coming off.

I have 17.5 cm wrist: I tried both efv-100 and efv-110 but I took the smaller version because it so pratical! It is incredible for the price. I paid 60 euros brand new for it

Just because the diameter of the watch is 35mm doesn't mean it's a woman's watch. Men at one time wore watches that were this size and it is described on Amazon as being a gentleman's watch.
