Sadly for w10 doesn’t remove Dave from the cloud. I’ve tried everything I can think of I signed into another account and switched accounts but still synchs save. Can’t get last achievement in butterfly on w10 thanks to this you’d wonder why they wouldn’t have the option to delete cloud data

If an achievement didn't pop and you delete everywhere you would have to do the whole game over again. What's the best way if achievement didn't pop to go to a previous save?

didn't work for HOrizon 5

Doesnt work for me in Horizon 5. Im stuck and at my wit’s end on this. I am using the Xbox PC app to play Forza Horizon 5 with Game Pass; but realized i am on the wrong email account. (Huge screw up with my free Game Pass, i know). But because i went through the first tutorial on that bad email, Forza is now forever stuck using that bad email. Ive tried Reseting its app data, ive tried offline mode to a save point on a new local save, and even now i got it to where i need to sign into my email, but it wont let me change the email field.
Im so close to just buying the game on Steam, but im scared that when Forza starts, itll still try to use the Xbox App sign in.
Does anyone know if Forza will connect differently to its cloud if i buy and start it through Steam? Will it be a brand new game launch where i could sign into my good email account?

The cloud didn't synchronize with my PC, i'm slightly further in a game on another PC, I tried to reinstall, I tried to "reset" as you mentioned but it didn't help :(

Didnt work for Forza Horizon 5

i downloaded offline game ,which mean no internet stuff ,i started playing and it crashed ,when i reopened it ,it said profile problem ,i did everything including reinstalling the game it says that ,please help me.....

Did this also delete my achievement

Now how do I save it to a external drive and reinstall it?

This good info man. But it still isn't working for some reason for me on this one game. I've never had this issue before. Maybe you can help hopefully. I'm trying to play that Colorful Colore (Windows) game and none of the achievements are popping. I tried resetting the app and reinstalling it. It's just not working. The thing that's annoying is that it claims it deleted the data, but when I launch the game, I'm not getting the permission request again and it syncs the cloud data again. The data is supposedly deleted. Buggy trash. lol Any idea what to do? I am on Windows 11. But that shouldn't matter I wouldn't think.

This does not work for Windows for most problems, maybe DLC. However, it does not delete your cloud data and I have not found out how to do that yet.

i just cannot delete my progress from a game called ShenZhen I/O, i forgot how to play so i wanna hit it from scratch, and not the xbox app nor the game offers any options to delete progress. I tried deleting the folders at my documents, i tried using this method and it would work, and if i do it again and cancel the cloud sync the game just refuses to finish opening, so im out of options. any ideas?

If you press reset it doesn't actually reset it for some reason.done everything you showed and the game just carrys on from where i was with no reset
