I also hope they told us how the timelines converged to Breath of the Wild. How they fixed it where OoT split it.

Give me a 50 year old link tending to a small crop, a letter from Queen Zelda about a princess that's gone down a dark path with a mysterious boy from the desert, a dusting off opening scene of a forgotten relic thats brought in to the light to be given the power to defeat evil once more. Give me 3 dungeons in which you have to uncover artifacts that are rumoured to give the holder eternal youth before having the strength to face a much greater danger told through a story of power, wisdom and courage. Give me old school zelda with dungeons and tools to get through them, a from software style combat system and a map full of secrets with heart containers to uncover. Finally wrap it up with 4k resolution and 60 fps

There is one idea that comes to mind for the dlc...........zelda and links wedding they finally get married. And Ganondorf's shadow Drops into ruin it and kidnap the bride and Link has to Save zelda his Bride-to-be from being sacrificed to Revive Ganondorf And finally get married Hes one true love..

What if they completely remake... the original Legend of Zelda? Or even a Crystalis kind of idea. Where life got to real life modern standars, but an apocalypse sent everyone back to the age of swords, magic, and monsters.

Personally I am sick of "Open world" Games I want classic world design and REAL Zelda dungeons not shrines and mediocre dungeons/guardians.
I want Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask, and Wind Waker spiritual successors if not out right sequels.
There is no reason not to re visit these eras in the franchise. Twilight Princess I could easily see Link going on a quest to another land to find a way to reunite with Midna.
I would LOVE a console based Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglass sequel actually set on land say covering the discovering, founding, and settling the wilderness of New Hyrule.
And we had a sequel adventure for OoT Young Link. Why not have one for Adult Link? say how he became a knight of Hyrule, his service/an adventure as a knight, and/or how he ultimately became the Hero's shade?

Honestly I want more open world sequel maybe bring in more old school weapons like hook shot yea earn it but you get different variations of you find them

Since OOT is on Nintendo online, I think they should remake Twilight Princess.

I'd really like another grimdark Zelda game like the ones on N64. The best Zelda game ever would be something like Dark Souls with a hookshot and more block pushing than Soul Reaver. Maybe have a mechanic where you can use the hookshot and iron boots to pull blocks towards you from a distance

Okay, I thought of an interesting mechanic. It involves having some sort of magic or energy meter. When Link defeats certain boss monsters, he gains an item called a cursed heart. It has the same properties of a heart container, but also gives him access to a transformation related to the boss he just defeated. For example, King Dodongo would give the Lizalfos transformation and Alpha Wolfos would unlock wolf link. You could even have one boss unlock Skultulla Link. Different transformations would drain the meter and different rates and certain areas would be cursed, locking link into different forms.

They need Master Mode to make the game harder. Not sure why they don’t just do that from the beginning 🤷🏻‍♂️

It also seems that they made flurry rush and parry to easy to take out enemies. They need to balance it more so those aren’t overpowered

An Ocarina of Time remake should add a bonus dungeon, the Ranch Temple. Link discovers it in Lon Lon Ranch, and he must rely on Epona to complete it. The boss should be a scarecrow riding a straw horse. The fight is a horse race where Link shoots at the scarecrow, and it tries to knock Link off Epona using a pitchfork. The Ranch Sage is revealed to be Malon.

Master mode for ToTK would be nice and give it way more replay value. It would seem easy enough to do as well!

I still think no DLC is a huge mistake.

I would've loved some smaller scale DLC. Ideas I've seen range from expanding on housebuilding to giving us a permanent Wing that doesn't time out, etc.

I feel like this video has to be satire, there is no way you’re talking about wanting futuristic technology over gameplay footage of TOTK? And the combat?? Like they added fusing and everything for a reason, I’m not sure what all you can really expect outside of parry’s, flurry rushes, dodges, etc. I don’t know any game that has a better melee weapon combat system other than ForHonor(and that game is literally made only for melee combat)

I'd like a game where Link is a Gerudo or any non Hylian while Gannon is like the king of Hyrule/a Hylian or something, and we have to stop gannon from conquering every OTHER land since he'd already have Hyrule?

Zelda farming game fer shore, maybe a Zelda business management simulator type of game in which you manage something like the stables and grow the economy, or a rebuilding of Hyrule type of game

Id love to see a Modern Legend of Zelda, not modern console, no, a Zelda game that takes place in relatively Modern times. Like, it would still be Hyrule, with all the regular creatures such as Zora, Gorons, etc, but have it not be in a Medieval type setting. Sure, not sure how dungeons and stuff would work, but i think itd be interesting. Also Id love remakes of the Oracle Games

Zelda tears of kingdom only came this year. Totk and depth is the dlc.

I disagree. Totk is not complete, IMO. Not until there's a Master Mode will I feel it's complete. There's no good reason not to have it. They might not ever make the Master Mode and that's fine, that's their prerogative. The fans will come to the rescue in the mod community and I, among many other people, will still feel Nintendo dropped the ball. C'est la vie 🤷🏻‍♂️

I always liked Ganon and Ganondorf, but maybe as a way to add progress to the overall storyline, have a way to have demise to return to get rid of the cycle of ganons and maybe introduce a new threat at the end of that game

Mannn, I’m worried about the future. I love the Zelda franchise and am sure the next game will be incredible, but I’m worried they set the bar too high with TOTK. What if they create a masterpiece that doesn’t deliver as much as totk, leading to poor sales and reviews bc of constant comparison?

I'd like to see a Hyrule Warriors game set between BotW and TotK😊

My guess. Since Nintendo redid the Zelda lore with BOTW & Tears I think they will start to build on this new lore for the Zelda franchise. Remember, Nintendo has stated that BOTW & Tears reset the lore and time line from the older games as they are set apart for the older games. BOTW & Tears were supposed to change the time line and past story. So I feel they will start newer Zelda games focused on developing this new time line. IMO 😊

I would be happy with whatever they presented. My only request would be a master sword that means something to get and wield.

I would completely geek out for a Ocarina and Majora Masks remake like how they treated Mario RPG and Link’s Awakening. I have not played either of these games so I would love a remake.

I personally would like to see a darker, more detailed looking open world zelda. like a mix between twilight princess and breath of the wild. I also think adding more in depth stealth combat mechanics like The Last of Us part II would be really cool. I also agree that a return of traditional Ocarina of TIme feeling dungeons would be amazing.

i think they can leave up the timeline entirely!
this game is already a legend! this game can be told in many ways if they are not tied to any previous 'timeline'.
fans waste a lot of potential when they kept trying to get everything 'on the timeline'.

I agree with your Jedi Fallen Order comparison, i think the combat could be more in depth, growing Link into the badass knight that he is revered as. I was thinking TLOZ would benefit from the PS4/5 God of War combat system.

Actual good classic dungeons, better combat, more realistic graphics, a high fantasy setting, more towns, a better story and a darker tone is all I need.

No ocarina of time doesn’t need to be remade AGAIN. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good, but remake something that hasn’t been remade before, or make a new Zelda game, but if they remake ocarina of time again, it will be disappointing, and that goes for wind waker and twilight Princess as well. The only way I could ever be on board with a remake is if all 3 of these games got bundled together in a super Mario 3D all stars type deal, and it would need to be handled WAY better than that sorry excuse for a rerelease

An alternate reality where Link becomes evil and you play as good guy Link. You have a crime meter where you become wanted. Nobody knows the bad guy is Link but you. But the more you do bad, the more likely you become evil Link. Sort of those time paradoxes.

Anyway, Zelda and her being a princess could be different. Instead of being a princess, she could be Queen Zelda. The evil Link kills off her father making her queen of the land of Hyrule. The Master Sword is shattered due to the sword unwilling to harm evil Link. So this time Link could make his weapons and items. His armor and shields as well.

For a side story, you can play as evil Link to know why he turned evil. As for Ganondorf, evil Link slaughters him thus making his corruption quicker.

You know where I would go with the next Legend of Zelda? The moon. A giant open world that actually has no borders because it is round, with completely new creatures and a new big bad. I would make it a sequel to TotK, because their technology is rapidly heading towards moon rocket, but if the producers don't want to do that, it can be set in any era.

Link and the forgotten land
