I feel roller sets give a longer lasting curl/bounce. Many stylists do not do this though, probably because it takes longer.

What are the step in blow drying

Some of you stay trigger hunting and looking for reasons to be offended. Then wonder why no one believes us anymore. Cuz you run around crying wolf every day. I think we all know what she means (struggling to get the tangles, multiple curl patterns, shrinkage, and frizz into a style with minimum breakage and damage). Pick your battles wisely. Sheeeesh🙄

As a person with thick and coarse natural hair, I definitely blow dry more frequently now so I don’t have to “fight against texture”. Because when I don’t it’s definitely a fight. Thanks for sharing this video.

If I come to you as a natural hairstylist. I don't want my hair blow dried that's not natural. I love my hair and don't want to "fight" it to become something else.

This is not for everyone. Yes, the kinkier the hair, the harder it is to manage, especially if you don’t know how to manage your own hair. After my mom stopped doing my hair, I made a effort to learn about it myself so I don’t have to spend $100s a month for someone else to cause heat damage.

But that’s me. If your hair is fine and health under heat, then that’s great. The more I do my hair, the more I learn what’s best for it as opposed to someone who’s never touched it before. Then when I have kids, I’ll be able to handle their hair.
