Grim Dawn Ultimate Starter Guide and 10 Tips for Beginners - Complete In-depth Gameplay

For this 10th "Still Worth Playing" video, I wanted to do something special. So I put together a guide that I think will help introduce the game, as well as get new players on the right path to pwning it up in Grim Dawn. And if you're already a Grim Dawn player, please share any tips you think would also benefit new players in the comment section!

I just discover this game. Got it to fill the void as I wait for D4. I think D4 is going to have a lot to live up to on this one. This is a very high quality ARPG. I just turnt up all my graphic settings after this video after about 45 hours in and wow it do look great. The shadows and lighting in the dark dungeons are great.

I really want to get this today, even though it's not on sale right now. But I should wait... The dynamite used to demolish though lol

It is perfectly enjoyable without a guide,...it is far less difficult than path of exile...just go without build guide follow your guts...learn as you go...don't take it too serious, it is a game, anyway....do it your way...

in updated version there's no more chipped materials, and improved loot filter

I got a 32“ monitor and a Nvidia RTX 20/60 card and Grim Dawn looks amazing. I hadn’t played it in a few years and I got pulled back in. It’s a greatgame.

How do you see where to go for quests? I have to kill those 3 special named enemies for the guy in first town. Any way to see these on the map or not?

Started playing at late december to 2021. The game is 4 years hold and can hold 5k+ players in a single player game. GD is definetly a GREAT game behind all those famous ARPG games. Give it a try and you'll be surprised :)

It's on sale for $4.99 on steam right now! It's always 25 so I've been waiting for a sale. the only other similar game I've played to this is Diablo III so this isn't really my thing but I've been interested trying something new and I like it it's awesome

I do feel that the most important thing you can do for yourself, as far as understanding on where to go in the beginning of what to do when you're first starting....bla bla bla. Jesus! Don't use 30 words when 3 will do. You can just say "Know your build" then comment about that or just say the 10 things, list them on screen, and talk about them. Maybe have timestamps below to each one. This vid is filled with so much fluff and a waste of time.

hoard dynamite, find it, craft it, whatever, just never pass up a secret or chest that needs dynamite to unlock!

y is a lvl 50 something avatar showing starter guide / starts from crate avatar then play them / to many want to show off there high lvl avatars like they accomplished something / finish school then 4 years military or raise a kid then you have accomplished something

How do you create your own rift portals?

Man i just dont like looking up builds and following them. Just doesnt feel like your character anymore if you follow someone elses guide. I rather make some mistakes but end up having my own unique character

Thank you for making this guide, it's extremely useful, I am about 32 hours in gameplay of Grim Dawn, This ARPG game I don't find it as a absolute must play, but it grows more and more each time I put hours into playing. I need this guide to improve me guessing which attributes/ devotion / skills to level up.

Your tips are helpful, especially tips number 1 (and 9), 7 and 8. what you mentioned on number 2 are very useful too, did not understand about components until you tell me what they are for.

Quick note: Personal rifts are unnecessary to travel to main portals. You can jump directly from most places without making a portal.

Level 50 not even a legendary?

Step 3 ????
Step 4 end up with 200 hours of game time with 10 characters below level 60

I just bought this game, researched for about half an hour what to do build wise, played it for an hour, did another half hour of research and am now here...and all the time I'm wondering, why am I not playing PoE instead? Can anyone explain why they like this over other arpg? It seems so slow and all skills (so far at least) seem really uninsprired and inumpactful. I spent about 15 minutes comparing my dmg numbers to try to figure out of my savagery skill was bugged as other than the stack counter going up it didn't seem to do anything, even though the skill tree claimed I was supposed to do more than double the damage o.O

I would love to hear your tips before I start this awesome looking game, but...34 minutes long? Come on, bruh...
