This camera really has some incredible features! I'm mostly excited about never having to charge it again.

Nice video. I got 3 cameras like you have with the same base. My front camera sends notifications seamlessly, but my other 2 cameras do not send notifications even though they have been setup like you did and are recognized by the HomeBase. I walked in front of these 2 cameras like 10=15 times and zero notifications. Any comments on why no notifications on 2 cameras, but the front one works perfectly? Thanks as I really want to like this system.

can yo playback video thats not in events

I have a dual band router is that going to a problem with connectivity? I had 6 SimpliSafe outdoor cameras and none of them would connect because it required a 2.4 bandwidth which i had but i guess the dual band was interfering.

I thought you didn't have to have internet???

I understand a WiFi Router is required... but there is no mention if INTERNET CONNECTION IS absolutely required to install or use.

I got two of these cameras and the home station almost a month ago. It will work for a few days and then it will just stop detecting any motion. I plan on returning mine. I don’t recommend this system. It is too unreliable.

For both types of eufy security cameras when I try to set an activity zone it only gives me a rectangle which i can resize. Most of these videos show a polygon which can be highly modified and reshaped to suit

I realy love the anti theft dictation, I couldn’t find it on my S40 model 😭. I really need that feature

Is there a way to view one of the cameras LIVE? Not just for a couple of minutes, but hours? I'd like to view the front door continuously from my office which is at the back of the house. Thank you!

Was your spotlight brightness set to medium?

Just wondering how it writes 4K footage onto a 2.5 inch hdd if it’s not ssd?!

Does it use and choke network bandwidth and causes Netflix/Streaming to go low resolution ? Also, does it work without wifi ? What the recoding delay like ? what is the storage> continuous footage or event based ?

Is it pretty easy to view the live feed on your mobile phone while away from the home?

Do the cameras link to the Home Base or do they link to WiFi then to the Home base? I am curious because I have extended my Wifi "bubble" to support Ring cameras but I would like to switch to Eufy products.

wondering how if i install the cams and home base for a friend on my phone can i transfer or add a user?

3 questions. 1) Why does the KB/s go from very low to very high and always fluctuating back-and-forth. What exactly does that mean? Because mine does that as well. 2) why is there such a ghosting effect in color vision. And 3) no matter where I set my motion zone it seems like I only capture motion well after they’ve come into that zone even though it’s within 25 feet or so. Any help would be great.

So many marketing material info being read on this review BUT no mention of the hard limit of the motion sensor. No motion past the hard limit of 8 meters will be detected! It is an actual sensor no motion being detected via the video image. This is really bad.

Thank you for this great video, I'm considering this setup for my home , but i have some questions, does the camera use internet bandwidth when recording an event? , Or does it only communicate with the home base , also what would happen if the internet goes out? I know i won't get notified but will the event be recorded on the home base?
I don't have reliable internet but i want to make sure that the home base keeps recording

Quick question Brett. Can I pair 2 Eufy home bases to my cam and alarm sensors, or do I have to use only one Home base.?

I have been using Arlo for about 5 years. Now it is costing $21.97/month. Batteries only stay charged for about 3 months so I have to climb a ladder and exchange them. I like the Eufy system, especially the solar charging and hard drive storage. Great set up video. Thanks for the information.

I brought this product yesterday it's working well some when I get close to the camera with my phone it makes a static sound when I m talking though the mic an it be great if the ai when it recognizes a familiar face it doesn't see notifications to my phone but hopefully an up date in the future it could do that an I own a big property 950 square meters an no matter where I took the camera it didn't lose any signal bars what I was really impressed but it would of been great to get a hard drive with it I brought the 4 camera pack but I m really happy over all I rate this 9 out of 10 😊

Great review! Can someone tell if the Eufycam3 can record 24/7? If not, what’s the time interval between triggers?

Can the new Home Base 3 identify people by name once the camera has their face recorded and you go in and put a name to their face? Will the camera then show "Jim" detected?

Can you delete the footage from the hard drive and how many months of standard recording will the 1T drive hold.

Love my Eufy S40’s, their only problem is reflections in the pool being detected as motion… this is something not really acceptable in 2023… wondering if some progress has been made on the EufyCam 3 ??
