I use caffeine before my workouts, but I get it through coffee or tea rather than paying exhoribitant money for a pre-workout mixture sold at your local supplement supply chain. I don't really think of it as a supplement.

The 3 I do buy as a supplement are protein, creatine, and a good multi-vitamin.

Creatine and vitamins are difficult to get through diet alone, so those have to be bought.

Protein is not so hard to get through my diet alone, so I don't always have to take it through a whey supplement, but I do buy it, so I never fall short.

I like the video, as usual. Just started taking maxed out, blast off and heat wave. As well as pitch black. I like all your supplements so far and the quality feels correct. I feel like this will be my best year as far as getting lean and buffed, so i am grateful for the info. Ill be 55 yo this year and have been clinically obese the last 10 to 15 years, unable to get back to my lean 220lb physique. This was due to job change from carpenter to long haul trucker, totally physical to totally sedentary. My health was getting bad last few years so now it is my prime focus. Thank u guys! Great channel!

I'd only add that N.O. boosters, specifically in the form of quality L-citrulline are worth including. Getting the extra vasodilation is really helpful in putting on muscle, and really safe.

I started taking micronized creatine mono 2 weeks ago, 5g daily.. 1st week, felt normal.. 2nd week of taking it, I felt dizzy a couple of minutes after taking it.. I also felt anxious and had difficulty sleeping.. so I stopped taking it yesterday, and today I feel good.. I'll let my body reset for a couple of days then try decreasing the does to 2.5g daily and see how it goes.. I think the standard does of 5g daily is too much for my current weight.. (note that i don't drink caffeinated beverages, i eat mostly whole foods throughout the week and supplement with whey and get 6-7 hours of sleep daily)

As an older man Whey Protein/Creatine / Caffeine has been my go to since i got back jnto lifting a year or so ago, however Creatine Monohydrate is a major diuretic so be careful. I’ve switched to Creatine HCL which stopped the diarrhoea issues , it tastes awful though 😊

Everything is good and all until you realize that you’re one of those who have a bad reaction to creatine.

I used it recently for about a month and I ordered a new bucket of it that I haven’t even opened because Creatine makes me lose my hair.

I know, I know. “The most researched supplement” and all of that but the truth of the matter is that if you google and Reddit it you’ll find a lot of people who had the same issue. There’s a lot of other people claiming it’s just a coincidence but most of us can see a clear change. As a matter of fact, my hair started falling as if I’m getting chemotherapy or something. My hair thinned like crazy. So, I wish I could find something similar to creatine without this side effect. I know, there’s nothing like creatine but I’ll keep looking.

I'm after getting leaner and stronger... I'm not really interested in being a muscle monster 😅. I want keep my hair and have healthy joints. Better posture is also important cause my work inhibits it. I'm just new to this.. and this is what I take daily. 5 g of collagen in the morning. 3 g of Citrulline malate pre-workout. 5 g of Whey protein post workout. Ashwagandha, fish oil & multivitamin. I also eat red meat and fish daily. Mostly beef & sardines.

I wish creatine would work for me. It just feels like a diuretic to me. Every time I take it the only difference I notice is I have to piss constantly and my muscles cramp all the time. It also spikes creatinine pretty high on blood tests.

ive never heard anyone talk about creatine this highly even though everyone knows its legit. i remember taking creatine for the first time when i was 19 many years ago. my diet was shit, no protein, like probably pizza, pb and j and noodles. i added peanut butter by its self and creatine and gained ten pounds very quickly lol
