Great software update while still having crazy customization (Good Lock and it's modules), Samsung is unbeatable for me.

I'm a fan of root and custom ROM but it's PITA playing cat and mouse with Google (SafetyNet and the next one, Google Play Integrity).

I switched to iOS after my OnePlus 7T which came with Android Pie (10) stopped receiving updates. Yesterday my phone got the Android 12 update. I must say, this was completely unexpected from OnePlus to follow through 3 years after the launch of the phone.

Don't forget that Oneplus has changed their software policy to 4 years of android system updates and 5 years of android security update, putting them on par with Samsung!

I use OnePlus 9r and I got A13 update last week of Nov.

I’ve been using the android 13 update for s few weeks now on my almost 2 year old op 9r. It’s not a big deal because most phones have got the update now.

Samsung is also the King of Planned obsolescence in their products👍, they d¡e just after their 1 year warranty ends, like my galaxy note 9 screen got green screened after updating my phone with December securith update after 2 years now they wants me to charge & change screen + motherboard , greedy ducks practice the planned hardware obsolescence in their products, if it is failed they will cripple your old device with new software update

Iqoo 9 se which is midrange has received 13 in November itself

My experience hasn't been quite like that.

Samsung F23 with SD750G, software doesn't seem optimized, camera shutter lags, 120Hz display stutters and the security patch is still of September with last update almost 3 months back.

Samsung is the best in every segment for update & IQOO & Pixel also best in higher mid-range

Getting Android 13 is not worth if ur device can't handle it (one of the forgotten reason why Android gives only 2 os update is because it can't handle newer os)

Don't know why but since One ui5 update, my Galaxy s21 plus (snapdragon) is discharging really fast. Hardly getting one day battery. Before this update i was getting 1.5 days battery backup Without power saving mode. Is there anyone facing the same problem?

Don't know about others,but as a 'Nothing' user I can tell - We all are getting Major & regular updates.
