So you need to combo code as well as code them individually?

Do you have to pass the ccs to be a HCC coder? Or can you be an Hcc coder with the cpc credential (i know this video was a while ago but I am currently taking the cpc)

Hello. Thank you for the inservice. I have a question about MEAT criteria. In the inservice, you state that some chronic conditions do not have to meet MEAT criteria. Can I assume that is referring specifically to the scenario you presented and not in everyday practice? I am a primary care practice CDI specialist and it is my understanding all HCC diagnoses have to meet MEAT criteria to be eligible for risk adjustment. Can you please clarify? Thank you.

Can we code the encounter which doesn't have vitals? Because in my current project we don't code the encounter which doesn't have vitals or PE .the reason is lack of evidence for face to face. Please clarify this.
