By the looks of him and combined with the name "Petrov", he's obviously a caricature of Peter the Great as a balding and run-down scoundrel, as befits western prejudices of the Russian bogeyman. 😄

I have a problem with this quest, before stealing it, I left to go back to the ship to unload some gear, and now I can't get back on, the door won't open to let me on the ship, any ideas?

This game is dogshit. I found out that you could stealth your way by opening up the cages using a computer on the other side of the zoo. The gross bugs killed the two guards by the stairway so I made my way past the two red doors got into the vault completely undetected and still got a bounty. This was after 3 attempts while getting caught through walls and setting off the alarms so I thought fuck this and just massacred everyone on the ship. Shit like this makes me want to stop playing. Every other corner I turn I get let down. So disappointing. Every mission is the same with the illusion of choice, poor game design. I got a legendary minimum and a sick blue ak-47 though. Only good things about this mission.

I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to steal the artifact without alerting anyone. I found that I could walk up to the "zoo", but if I try to go down any further, the 2 guards at the final door start attacking. So, I went to the zoo, unlocked the gate, let the "aliens" kill all the guards, then went down to the vault. But as soon as I picked up the artifact, even though no one saw me, everyone upstairs became hostile and I got bounty slapped on me on UC territory! FFS!

I killed everyone in that ship they had some sick armor and guns but i felt bad lol

You can actually steal the key then go behind the vault and cut the pins off the red door right by the artifact without getting caught

You knew there was no way in hell a Bethesda game wasn’t going to have Stephen Russell voice someone.

Did anyone else get grabbed by Commander Ikande after this? I didn't see a way out of it, it just happened automatically - unless I went the route of this video and didn't kill Petrov? Maaaaan, cause now I have all these other missions that I wasn't looking to do yet. Both Deep Cover and Burden of Proof have now popped up with red skulls. I hope I can just ignore them until I want to play them. But uch, getting caught up in all that when all I wanted to do was return the artifact and go to bed was a headache!

Man, Petrov is such a funny and likeable character, I actually felt sorry for robbing him like that.

Oh man this went so different to how it went for me, I ran all the way through his ship and got back to mine! Undocked and blew up his ship, then went back to my outpost and used the bounty kiosk so I could go back to the lodge with no problems!

Tell your crew to stand down while I loot up the whole place as they all just stand and watch in the most unbelievable disbelief ever.☠

This quest ending is terrible! Why no persuasion option?

I love how after Petrov says go ahead and loot whatever you want, one of the first things the dude grabs is a plant off the desk. Lol

Im suprised you dont loot with the scanner on, idk how many times ive found hidden loot or even normal loot cause of the darkness, the scanner outlines everything useful in blue so its easy to see

Can you not avoid the bounty

Stole everything in this guys ship just to find out after you do this you can just take everything without it being stolen
