I bought an ovation celebrity elite in may and I love it plugged in only gripe is holding it straight withot it slipping great pickups
Ответить🔥 I want the same one .....what's the model number also the USA ??? that's the one I would love to have but they're much
ОтветитьJust ordered the ovation celebrity elite. ❤
ОтветитьNo matter what the price, Ovations have all the tone of a plastic wash-tub.
ОтветитьI have an Ovation Adamas USA with the Preamp. I always had the impression that the Ovation guitars had an electric guitar neck. Acoustic guys are snobs about Ovation but I love mine and would never sell it. Enjoy your Ovation.
ОтветитьNice find, you lucky dog. I have two Ovation guitars center hole still love um. Enjoy.
ОтветитьTalk as fast as you can because??????
ОтветитьNo way! I just ordered one of these exact used ones and this shows up.
Ответитьi put nylon strings on mine and it plays great and sounds pretty good
ОтветитьReally a beauty, and to be honest, I love working with quirks in a guitar. Maybe there is a bend in the neck, or a buzz in the fretboard. But just consider that a challenge. Some of my most endeared instruments are "flawed" in some way. <3
ОтветитьCan never go wrong with the good old Ovation Guitar. They were always my no. 1 favourite brand of acoustic guitars. 😁
ОтветитьIt is a keeper, I have kept for 25 years a deep bowl US w/0 the cut away - 600dollars used from GC hollywood...I'll never let go
ОтветитьMy issue with ovation is, when playing standing with a strap the guitar tends to tilt upward makes it uncomfortable to play standing ,other than that the action is great plays wonderfully when seated.
ОтветитьYou got a nice guitar. I bought mine about a month ago for $500 without a case, same kind Made in Korea.
ОтветитьI've been in music ministry since '89. Until a couple years ago, I always played Ovation guitars. One of them was a ruby red super-shallow Elite like the one in this video. Now, I play Harley Benton HBO 600 instruments sourced from Thomann Music in Germany for $79.99 plus shipping. They're very :Ovation like" for a fraction of the cost of the real things.
ОтветитьI just I just bought a used Celebrity CE44p. I really like it I got lucky and got the original ovation case as well.
ОтветитьI love my Ovations but i have the mid depth ones and mine are 90s USA models. Ive owned them trouble free since they were new in 94 or 95 i think. As i said ive had NO trouble with mine and they have literally 1,000s of hours of play on them. Love them. I have 2 Elites and a 12 string balladeer.
But the thing bodied ones i dont like the sound of or the feel. I cant get comfortable with them either, but i am pretty tall with long arms so that could be a reason. But the sound is not the same as the thicker bodied model.
Made in Korea or China?
ОтветитьNice guitar!
ОтветитьThe “leaves” or “feathers” are actually inspired from grapes on the vine! The holes being the grapes. On a non cut away, all the small holes add up to the size of a single hole.
I bought a 1993 Standard Balladeer with original case recently and I absolutely love it. I don’t think I’d buy a non USA model as USA made are pretty cheap used. The deep bowl is the nicest. I’d like an Adamas in non cutaway. Dreaming about it!!!
Nice guitar. I have Ovation too and sound is great and unique.
ОтветитьI bought an Ovation identical to that one years ago to play in our worship team at church too. Everyone was really blown away by how good it sounded plugged in. I was really impressed by how easy it was to play. I eventually sold it and "upgraded" to a higher end Breedlove which plays and sounds good too but I've always wished I had kept my Ovation. Now that you've had a few days to play it are you still as impressed with it? How does it sound plugged into your church's system?
ОтветитьJust bought an Ovation Celebrity, I love the sound, also a shallow back. Made overseas but very impressed with it.
ОтветитьYa bought a stick of butter with strings. If you can hang on to it ...sounds great well made except for the back....What were they thinking.
ОтветитьCongratulations on your purchase!
ОтветитьI've had Ovations in the past, one a full body Applause, then a shallow body Celebrity with a cutaway. I now have an Ovation 12-String. Very unique sound they have and very 80s.
ОтветитьI bought one in high school and still have that one. I believe it was out of the Hartford, CT factory when they were there. I live in MD now and started playing again. Started using that Ovation and after of week of use, a crack formed in the body of the guitar. Super bummed but I found out that the Ovation hub is here Gaithersburg, MD. Went to a local music store that gets B tier Ovations from that hub. Ended up getting another one with an amazing quilted top and sounds great. I will probably have a set up done to it but really love the sound Ovation Celebrities produce.
ОтветитьCongrats on the guitar! Sounds great!
