There's a very important point you never mentioned about playing back local video files from your machine. You should always add a limiter as an audio filter (my go to is minus 11 dB) because most videos will have audio clipping (distortion) issues when you add them in OBS and they are loud enough. Output audio capture may clip inside OBS as well, especially if you mix a stereo source down to mono (you get +6 dB boost), this is why you audio may actually clip at minus 6 dB in OBS (learnt from Podcastage). Basically a minus 11 dB limiter is my default setting for all audio sources. You cannot go wrong with that.

ok....there is a problem that noone has seemed to address yet and that is "How to MANUALLY restart playback from the beginning" This is an issue when programing audio fades etc...you have to have the source in multiple scenes as references so that you can do the fade across scenes.....but the file is still playing (regardless that you can't see or hear it)....so when you go back to it, it's not replaying from the start.

I seem to be missing a step in the multiple videos. How do I control them? For example, not to play the next video until needed, kind of like a playlist? This would be similar in function to the slide show.

why does your audio sound so much better than mine? LOL. I use a Rode USB mic (I didn't want the compolexity of a non-usb mic). I feel like it sounds like I'm talking in a can. I saw your video on settings in OBS, didn't seem to help much. thanks!!!

Thank you for all your videos on the OBS software. It's really helpful. I wanted to add two videos side by side and start playing the videos simultaneously. I am unable to do it as I can't select both media sources together and start the play button.

I want to play two and more videos one by one. How I do it ?? Means I want to play another video automatically after completion of one video
