This is a great video for anyone who's planning to buy any of Denon hardware. Thank you.
ОтветитьGreat video, I was doubting about getting the Prime Go bc I saw other videos stating that you can't use it as a controller. Thanks!!
ОтветитьOutstanding work, almost seems like Denon cares about democratizing DJing 😂 thanks for the super deep dives 😎🖤🙌💪
ОтветитьGreat video man. Love my Sc6000m’s and x1850.
Ответитьthank for doing this, very hard to find stuff about denon dj
ОтветитьSerato hotcues don't all carry over. Tried to do this endless times and its not consistent.
ОтветитьThese gadgets are so “intelligent “
ОтветитьI have an X1800 and it sometimes suffers from these grounding issues. I haven't found a decent fix anywhere though... would be silly if I had to return it to Denon so they can fix it - the shipping costs alone are probably insane. If you happen to know a fix which I can do myself, please let me know :)
ОтветитьCan you connect Denon turntables to Prime 4?
Ty
Whoops. Time to update this video. 🙂 Hello Engine OS 3.0
ОтветитьOld stuff,... when a new comming up???????
ОтветитьHi, I have a denon sc live 4, and I realized that "Search" only finds what is already in the library of the playlists I made. I would like to know how to make the "Search" scan the entire SSD.
ОтветитьYou don’t have any possible to change the gred matter to bars in the sc 6000
Ответитьon the sc6000 can you mix from 1 deck and see both songs at the same time on screen?
ОтветитьIf you are streaming records from Spotify and do the grids and cue points will those save? If so, you would have to redo them if the next time you were streaming them from another platform like Tidal, correct? TIA
ОтветитьI really don't agree with the point that any of the Denon all-in-one systems are a good center piece for connecting more devices you may want to have in your setup. This is what differentiate the Denon from the Pioneer devices. As Denon only have software effects that can not be used by external hardware, Pioneer all-in-one units have hardware effects that can be used equally by the internal and external devices. Something you would expect from a center piece unit. You would probably not buy a 4 channel mixer where the effects were only available on 2 channels, would you?
If having 4 internal channels available is important and a requirement, go Denon, because then you will hardly use any of the channels for anything else anyway.
On the other hand, if you're more of a multi gear user, or like me have been in the game for many years and want to have turntables and cdj's, and perhaps other Pioneer gear usable for link connection connected, Pioneer will be the obvious option.
If your all-in-one will never leave it's case except for when being used at gigs, go with whatever fits your needs and wallet.
I don't know why it's so hard to mention this little fact that could be a decision maker for many buyers. It's not that Denon themselves or any reviewers out there mention it either, so even with extensive research, DJ's will learn the hard way what software effects mean when they hook up their turntable for the first time trying the effects out, like i did with the Prime 4.
lovely video
ОтветитьHonestly, have you had any issues with the SC6000 jogs? Every replacement I got has never matched it's twin and vice versa. Please give me your opinion.
ОтветитьAwesome review. own a couple of denon dj controllers. The Prime Go, Awesome machine. I use it at most of my gigs. I also have the denon dj MCX8000 which I haven't since I bought the Prime go. I'd still wanna keep it though. I may use the MCX8000 from time to time, but use with VDJ instead of with serato dj pro. I've had some issues with serto dj pro with the MCX8000. My next denon dj product Im looking to purchase is either the SC6000 or LC6000 with the prime 1850 mixer. 😊
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьSeveral reviewers have mentioned that the Denon mixer is not the best in class for SQ. In a four-deck setup with dual SC6000M/LC6000, what mixer from an SQ standpoint would be a suitable replacement for the X1850? I’m leaning toward the Xone:96, but the MasterSounds Four Valve also appeals to me.
ОтветитьThanks for covering the Denon line. Your reviews have been constructive for me. I’ve been out of the DJ scene since 1990. So I’ve been trying to get up to speed with the new technology and systems.
Which has the better DAC sound quality, between SC6000 and X1850?
Is there an SQ improvement using the SC6000 digital outputs into the mixer?
What stand is that that you had your prime go sitting on?

ОтветитьGreat vid! I sold all my Pioneer gear a few months ago for a really good price and got myself a 4 decks SC+LC6000 setup and a Xone 96 mixer, not going back for sure, especially now with the 2.4 Engine OS update which is just huuge!
ОтветитьAwesome video! More like a hardware video than EngineOS itself, but its lovely that you also included the MCX, VL and DS1. Probably the best overview for people who like to change their rider, like I did ✌️
ОтветитьWish you went over midi out more! That’s a giant feature!!
ОтветитьFunny you make this video just when there was just a flexible beat grid update 🤦🏾♂️😂
ОтветитьYes! Bought a SC6000 a while ago, barely used it. Can’t wait to watch this. 👍👍
