That opening scene of Viego dropping Isolde on the pool, is not as powerful as I imagined it. If I remembered correctly (based on the lore), Isolde is wailing in pain, and in her confusion she stabbed Veigo with his own sword.

I would love to play this but I'm a cheapo. I usually wait for games to get a discount on stream and then buy it.

But that goes back to what the higher up said lore and story does not matter which is a lie. The game was dope but the lore has a huge fan base as well. If they were smart they would try to weave the shadow isles event with this story. It would have made for more compelling and episodic story. This story could be the reason why misfortune gets possessed her fears of becoming gankpunk. The reason pyke is there they could have swope two Is sentinels characters with Ari and Yasuo, so on & so forth.

Comments gets away with that because they literally reset the universe universe collapsing event occurs and it resets. Plus literally the story spans several people's lifetimes so they're trying to keep the same people for whatever reason in rotation. Because old comic lovers hate changed new ones they need to catch

This story presents a way to focus a lot of the characters. Ahri & yasuo become sentinels like vayne. Illaoi realizes the mistakes she made with letting gankplank go as when they return he has taken bilgewater back & plotted against misfortune. They should/could have put ryze in the story tying back to the animation they had while throwing in a rune stone. What illaoi did to pyke could have cleared his mind alil & he become a harold of a God
