Beelink GT King II Amlogic A311D2 Octa-Core Gaming TV Box

Guys this box is their most powerful one yet its performance is outstanding with the 3D gaming and it has the benchmarks to back it up. All they needed to is to update the firmware to fix some of the bugs.

hi, i have gt king2 and i would like to install emulec and thousands of games; I saw that they sell sd cards with everything already installed but they are for gt king and gt king pro, the various vendors tell me they are not compatible with gt king2. What games and emulators do you recommend that are compatible?

hello, I finally received my gt king2 and due to the use I have to make of it I noticed a serious defect; I have to use it as a carPc but I noticed it is not possible to install smartphone apk that I need to use in the car as a carPc. the strange thing is that my old cheap tvbox is compatible with everything, i never expected that with gt king2 i could have this problem. is there any way to make it compatible with smartphone apk?

Does the box have Settings->Advanced->VPN? And "VPN Always On" feature? I'm dissapointed it has Android TV OS and not full Android. I need that setting for my box in order to activate ZeroTier or Tailscale on startup.

Does aether and dolphin work on this I can not get them to install.

Is it possible to connect a DAC via USB for sound? The Shield allows selection of USB and high quality stereo but hard to tell on this video whether it is possible.

I have decided to buy this box because I don't buy Nvidia box this box seems to be the most powerful box and has real android for tv but hybrid of course there wil be some hit and mis but I like the spec and price and it supports 64x not many box have that.. hopefully the fix them in the future..or burn form its place a cooling wil be required for heavy load so most powerful box wil.
We will see its interesting recoding video and edit videos.and streaming.

Great job as always. Imagine if Beelink fixed all the issues before they put the product out and made this device Google Certified. This one would destroy the Nvidia Shield and most likely rank up there with Apple TV.

Another great review. I'm looking for an inexpensive Android box that's not rooted. I need it to access a sports book app. I have a Shield that's not rooted. But the playstore won't allow me to download the sports book app on the shield. The app won't work with rooted devices. It can't have root switch because the app won't work with a root switch either. The box has to be unrooted. I figured if somebody would know of such a thing it would be you. Thanks

I have one that's about 2 years old and decided to brick itself.

Instead, buy a pre-order 8Gb Orange Pi 5 board, an NVME SSD, a fan, a Pi 4 power supply and, if required, a WiFi/BT module. It will be likely be cheaper and the RK3588S SOC is way more powerful than the Amlogic A311D2, so the range of games that can be played will be way more expansive.

Finally an octacore chipset tv box. Sadly ,the chipset needs alot optimizations

I was exited when I saw the beginning, Android 11, 64-bit, but felt disappointed for the overall result and all con's... I now still use my NVidia Shield and looking for a nice replacement but this Beelink is a pitty, but thanks for your clear review

Awesome I was wondering when BeeLink would come out swinging again. Beelink was always by go to box, now it’s BuzzTV but always open as I go through lots of them for friends and family. Great review and thank you ❤

We all know beelink always has great hardware but the cons hurt this box..they have been way to long in the android TV box market to be making such mistakes..and one of the huge mistakes is not having a root switch ..that should be a main stay in all products..as you stated their updates should address a lot of the software issues..another great on nick...😁😁😁👍👍👍

My experience with GT king stuff is it Junk, I would not recommend it, too much overheating and graphic glitches and game incompatibility.

Every time I hear that one of these boxes does not show Netflix or Prime Video in HD, I exit the video and move on. Nope!

So far I am enjoying it, it does have a buggy sound issue where some streaming does not have any sound.
But I have Kodi and HD Cinema installed and they both perform fine

Think I will stick with my original GT king this one looks like its going to have a lot of hidden gremlins under the hood surprised it was released with all the faults not like Beelink to do that normally Beelink is ironclad on testing good review Nick.👍
