ОтветитьNice drum drum
ОтветитьI can already nearly play smoke on the water. And I'm 9.
ОтветитьAwsome I remember being invited up to play the song ..clocks from coldplay on mikes giant Yamaha kit.. he was demonstrating and teaching about the ..yamaha DT extreme electric drums mixed with his acoustic kit to trigger music and drum sounds in victoria bc ..long and mquade drum clinic..thanks mike ..it was a blast 🔊
ОтветитьYou do give good points but when will drumeo do a video with a student off the street at random to demonstrate their teaching techniques (just a thought)
ОтветитьWhy does he disappear during #2 playing from the wrists? Why are we staring at a white screen, while he's demonstrating wrists, we don't get to see?
ОтветитьAbout to take my first lesson……at 68!! Play piano, clog, line dance!! It’s just a lifetime dream to play drums!!! Thanks Mike! I’ll learn to properly hold the drumsticks!!
ОтветитьBest explaining I've seen yet for holding the stick.
ОтветитьIm a complete newb, just starting.. I noticed Mike that on the single/double roll transitions your elbows move out slightly as you get faster...Maybe an inch or so. Does this help with comfort? Great videos by the way...
ОтветитьMike, this was an amazing lesson. Great stuff! Thank you

Hold the stick like Harry Pottah, got it
ОтветитьI'll be sure to send this video to mady keita and others at African drumming they are master djembe players but when it comes to playing drum kit he and others there don't have technique on the drum kit but with your instructions will pick it up in no time if they just don't let ego get in the way
ОтветитьHey thanks!! I just got a set.
ОтветитьI checked myself out vs all these. Still worth running through!
ОтветитьA freaking love this video! Great work Mike.
ОтветитьHi Mike, is that the special drum pad (you were using) just for practice? What is it called so that I can check it out at online shops. Thanks!
ОтветитьQuestion: what type drum sticks should a beginner use?
ОтветитьDifficulty rebounding with left hand. Slowly handling better
ОтветитьAwesome
ОтветитьHow to tell you are American without telling you are American... assuming that it is more common to handle a gun than a drum stick. 😅
The three camera angles are great, by the way!
I live how there are all these drummers getting together to just learn 💕
Ответить71 year old new drummer

ОтветитьAs a guitarist finally getting to learn drums seriously, I appreciate all these tips. Thank you Mike!

ОтветитьGreat lessons !
ОтветитьThank you. This was great!
ОтветитьReally excellent instructions. Thank You.
ОтветитьI l o v e your drumming system !!!!!!!!
ОтветитьYou know you are so right I'm 57 years old and I played the hell out of the drums all my life college educated but I always use my arms I was never taught to use my wrist elementary School high school so it was time for college I had to adjust a little bit but the '80s was the time with glimmer rock was around. Flamboyancy glamor throwing your arms around was the thing that's what I was learning in college instead of the true natural way of playing. My grandchild wants to learn drums he has everything he needs to learn without me at a touch of a finger the internet. No I'm trying to find the right videos to watch thank you for showing the basics Peace out. Jack E. Flash
