How to save configuration in VPC ?

Im having issues pinging a Public IP, my VPCS are configured propperly and getting IPs from DHCP, Im able to ping the respective GWs.
However i have NAT on my core routers, when I source from the LAN, the NAT works and im able to ping the Public IP fine, but when I try to ping it from the VPCS is not working for some reason, is there any extra configuration that needs to be done?

I can ping from VPC but I can't telnet , I used wind7 node to telnet and it works.!!
do I have to configure the DNS?
