The quietness of the interior will get drowned out by kids screaming in the back. Also the deluxe interior will lose its luster after they drop Cheetos all over.

The lack of V6 in the RX450h+ might be due to the market that they sell them in. I know here in the UK it is based on CO2

Lexus forgets, the majority of owners are more mature than teens who love gimmicky gadgets. In addition to also having IT focused 20 some year old’s, designers that are more inclined to make changes for change sake, just to put their own stamp on some of the less desirable changes. Having owned many BMW’s, i could for the most part, find similarities in all of the product line (not that I enjoyed each of their purpose/usefulness) both with Lexus, the location of some controls ie. steering wheel heat, trip odometer, door locks etc. aren’t ideally or even naturally located. Baffling!

I have had a succession of RX's since the model was introduced decades ago. But that process has been interrupted because the current RX is not available with the trusty V6, non-turbo engine. So I will keep my 2021 RX until the V6 returns. I hope Lexus is listening.

Don't click-bait us! You should have explored the actual Lexus V6 you promoted in your title, not a 4-cylinder version. Disappointed, and less likely to watch your future videos...

Hello from the Golden State. Quick question. I have a 2002 tundra, and the rear driver side axel started making grinding sound. About a week later, it started bleeding from the drum. Now, the question is why every mechanic that I have talked to is afraid to work on. I have been rejected several times because one of the excuses I get is the differential .. from a professional can this be fixed or just junk the truck. Thanks Mauricio

Really enjoying watching the reviews from the perspective of an experienced mechanic, particularly when it’s a Toyota/Lexus product. What would be great though is a brief overview of the various service touch points. Expect a lot of viewers are DIY inclined so want to know what they’re getting in to with basic stuff like oil changes, filters, brakes, etc.

Those driving Nannies and door latches are enough to pass on this.
I understand they build these for people who are poor drivers. Meanwhile, those of us who actually pay attention to the road have to put up with them.

I really wish they didn't force you to get captains chairs on many trim levels. Having a two place second row make this less of a family friendly car than it would be given the huge dimensions. The styling also is a miss for me. That front end is really ugly. I also wish the base had a smooth 6 instead of a 4.

I don’t see this Lexus as being a seller number one they don’t need three seats number to the front in sucks the display in the front. They should’ve left it the way it once was white screens good but there’s nothing on it. The suburban Chevrolet has them but there’s no doubt, this is going to be an albatross on the company that should make the front of this vehicle a lot more comfortable looking similar to the equinox Chevrolet of 2023 and 2024 not the EV I don’t care for the equinox EV one bit cut down the size of that Lexus get rid of the front make it more presentable not so damn big is the Cadillac which looks like a giant albatross do something to improve the back. I know she got a bit and literally fight to take things out of the back where the tire is, which is stupid no, just cause a loser. I doubt they’ll sell many of those at all I think the Chevy suburbans got them beat by a long shot. If you’re looking for a big car to pull a trailer and why in the hell are they putting six cylinders in this car everybody’s going for energy, efficient vehicles, and trying to reduce the size of the cost of running these damn things doesn’t make sense to me at all. This car should be withdrawn and a smaller version made Yep, this Lexus is a loser. There’s no doubt about it.

Love your program I agree with you one thing the Cadillac big car that is the SUV and this car Lexus in several other cars. Why the hell do they have to have such a big fat front grill it looks like hell in this Lexus forget it I mean it looked like a giant albatross. Keep up the good work. God bless you and yours long live the republic.

He loves the V6. We all did. On this TX, it costs $20k more than the 4cyl. In fact it’s $82k. At that price point, there is no way I could even consider this thing. Plus, there are only a few on the ground. Very rare, why bother if you are not going to produce it. The V6 was everywhere in Toyota and Lexus SUV’s in the recent past. Now, it’s a super expensive rare bird.

The EV just not the future for now nor the next 15 years, yet. It’s good for consumers lovers combustion engines, no debating, no discrimination. My 2000 Camry, V6, 3.0L is no mistaking for powering with loaded payloads took off extremely easy acceleration. From Boston to Maine- on interstates highway no issues with 24 years old Camry V6 3.0L. Why changed while this V6 working so well. The only issue is the rusty quarter panels on both rears, next to rear tires.

I have two RXes and one is getting old- almost 20, and I am looking at getting a newer car. Probably a 2020-2022 RX, but I might end up with a Toyota. I want heated leather seats, a six cylinder engine, an a serene cabin. But this video is too long, too in depth. How about a 10 minute highlights version. Maybe I would care enough to watch the whole thing if my "05 was giving me problems, but at this rate I might have it a few more years.

The driver is confronted with Information Overload in this Lexus, with most of the information being about the status of the vehicle.

If we begin with the Basics, the driver needs to know the Speed, the Fuel Level, Oil Pressure, and the Engine Temp. The rest of the engine status info is good to have but it's not absolutely needed to determine if the car is safe to drive.
