I can't seem to find the permanent desktop mount from the video do you know where I can buy it?

What's the max weight this boom can hold? my Coles 4038 is like 2.4 lbs

Was yours creaky? Mine came out of the box pretty creaky and I ordered a new clamp because the creaking might come from either there or from the middle area.

It doesn't fucking screw together, where's the adapter comment here?

I run this same setup and ive noticed that the XLR plug will rub up against the arm when you turn it at certain angles and ill get a static sound when the plug hits the arm. i think that Shure mount extension might be the ticket for me, Thanks for the video!

How does this compare to the 4000

I just subscribed to you this weekend, and every video I watch I can't help but think of what a good job you do. You don't make the video longer than it has to be with non-relevant information, and you really hit the points that I do want to know. Thank you for doing these. BTW, one reason for the extension is if you want the boom to reach over from the back of your monitor so that the mic and boom are not so prominently displayed in the camera. In that use case, you'll want to spin the mic around more.

I have a heil wall mount and the Gator Frameworks doesn't seem to fix its way to lose in it.
Have you come across one that has a snug fit with the Gator.
My first wack at a workaround was to 3d print a sleeve but it was so thin it cracked over time.
At the moment I'm wrapping aluminum foil around it to make the tolerance better.

the table clamp is crappy and comes loose

I kinda wish they went with an all black XLR cable. It looks amazing until you see that silver end of the cord.

How long is the integrated XLR cable? Will there be enough of it to run to my rodecaster duo about a foot away? I’m assuming the interface and arm will need to be quite close. Thanks :)
