imo, it's because players often contribute hugely to the balance of a power within a continent, always stabilizing it into the player and their miscellaneous enemies/allies. without a player's stability the continent goes crazy, because europe is designed partially to be the best place for a balanced game for a player, without a player the place goes nuts. asia can handle decently on its own especially considering most players expand into there later on but europe just explodes. even worse if in americas.

Last time I played in Asia Provence got a PU over France and Georgia got one over Russia, the Teutons formed Prussia and Sweden was emperor. What a game.

Playing outside Europe experience : no manpower after 1 or 2 war. Biggest nation of your continent after 2-3 wars.
Have to humiliate CB to catch up European tech (by spawning institutions).
Earning more than 100 ducats before 1500 (exepte Ming you can reach way more than 100).
Having the entire of Europe map in 1500-1600.
Having curse or Dominate nation or both in Europe.

I did a game as Bahmanis once and Riga basically took over the entire commonwealth

Hell, even when I'm playing in Europe now, shit gets weird. Wasn't paying attention to western Europe as Bradenburg and next thing I know, England is under a PU with spain and half of France if England and the other half is Spain. Meanwhile, next door the AI was well on its way to forming Lothrangia. All because I spent a decade fighting in Poland and the next two defending Hungary from the Turks.

I was playing as byzantium, finishing eating rest of itally when i discovered whole africa at once.
It was all MALI.
Bastards almost managed to become eco hegemon later on but my italian trade nodes combined with borrowed colonies from spain and portugal got me there first.

I have an Ethiopian game rn, it’s 1530’s, all but two reforms are passed by the HRE, there is only 1 heretic, Iberia is in pieces, Protestantism is strong in France. Timurids despite being greatest power lose to ottomans in war. Still can’t see most of the map, only what I’ve stolen maps for currently,

I wish there are other creative ways to spawn certain institutions outside of Europe that is not dumping thousands of mana into a province.

In one of my Japan game Europe get fucked up once too, but in a scary way. IDK how the F Austria ended up PUing France and Russia. Lucky they are don't pay much attention to Asia.

Today I played as Mong together with 2 of friends who picked Korea and Dai Viet. When I discovered Europe we were all terrified.
1. Poland must have lost Lithuania, because they had the elective monarchy but Lithuania was independent.
2. Despite that, Poland conquered Bulgaria, Thrace and half of Anatolia on its own.
3. Provence owned half of France, also inherited Burgandy and conquered half of Naples.
4. Spain conquered entire North Africa, half of Greece and half of Italy.
5. Venice owned half of the Balkans.
6. Pomerania was the Emperor and owned most of North Germany
7. Irish minor controlled Wales

Croatia stronk! I wish i could see how they pulled that off
