How to build a Rhyniognatha trap in ARK: Survival Ascended

You'll notice this trap is very different from the ASE one. This is because the situation is very different. Firstly, we don't have nets projectiles yet which means it's not as easy to check the health of the Rhynio. But also, they have changed something with the Rhynios mechanics, they're not as consistent at impregnating while trapped now. If I come up with something that works well for impregnating while trapped, I will make another video, but no promises.

This trap is flawless! My tribe has been putting off catching these flying suckers for a month. I built the trap this morning, caught one and showed them it wasn’t a big deal after. Many thanks my man!

So... I tried this trap for maybe 10 rhynos and it works but if you want it for impregnating IT DOES'T WORK. its good for traping when you get its hp below 100 you can release rhyno and than maybe it will do its move. your welcome people.

You have to leave out of render and wait about a minute and it will impregnate you every time.

Nice concept congratulations for the success on the trap itself I understand that the reason is mainly for making easy to check the health so you don't kill it by accident.

People also should check nooblets trap because that one is for multiple pregnancy. (Like the reaper case where you can impregnate multiple times) the nooblets trap provide a easy way to impregnate multiple dinos making easy to proc a mostly desirable babie. Also allows many people in the server to have a chance to get a high level one in case it is trapped and you announced it at the global Chat

Old school behemoth gate traps seem to still work. We built ours with 2 gates and used bars as to make a cage. You do have to get the host into the cage and it seems to only work on brontos/giga sized creatures. They deff did changes to make it so its easier to let it impregnate just out in the wild. I'm betting they wanted to kind of prevent the whole tribe using one rhynio. Makes me wonder if they will alter reapers also
