This is helpful for hydra but in clan boss its not that good the clan boss has 1520 defense after using 3 star crulety and decrease defense the clan boss will have only 820 defense its nice to upgrade the clan boss ignore defense from the greatwall but its almost useless to do it

I just wish they used the same currency on both halls, would be a nice catch up for who doesn't have a maxed great hall and a new grind for who have it!

i'm a tad confused.. ive been focusing ignore def on my clan boss area bonus, im at 18 percent ignore def there but im not running anyone with in built ignore def or anyone with savage or cruel gear... so an 18 percent ignore def.. does this still matter a ton? Also, what about blessings that ignore def, do they help out? I'm f2p by the way, so sometimes these complicated topics go over my head.

Did ignore defense myself mainly because of how scarce it is, and the crit damage added will mess up ally protectors harder.

Who TF is spending medals on CB? It's so easy to get 1-2 key teams once you get past mid game. Focus on dungeons to get your account hitting Hard 10 on everything.

I'm here just to say I love your videos but even more to say that i hate live arena, I played it in the beta and during 2 weeks after the official release (I stopped silver 3) after that I never played again since yesterday, when I realized how focking bad this game mode is, as a mid game player is impossible to compete with 95% of the others players out there (and i have Harima, yumeko, etc). And after losing to 3 lvl 100 accounts with even more meta champs the genious plarium devs. give me a bot to fight, a bot lvl 100 with the same fockings meta champs... which makes this stupid to keep playing.

I started with this stat in hydra. My Cupidus with 6 star crushing rend in savage ignores 80% and easily outdamages my husk, like 3x more dmg, than husk on NM hydra

i am spending all my arena medals for ignore defense for hydra my harima hits for 1m with every a1 on decaptivated heads.

Nice breakdown but a little oversold. There is a whole-team benefit to focusing on SPD / RES / ACC (to give flexibility of gear choices) and C.DMG (to directly bring up damage).

In hydra ignore def helps the whole team if some are not crit capped.

If they halved the wait time between turns on live arena then sure, but as it stands, its extremely boring

Super cool stuff but let's also take in consideration how long this will take you and how much you should give a shit. If you play live arena at the highest level (gold 4) and you have a win rate of 100%, you can max out ingore def for all 4 dungeons and both clan bosses in 61 days. To max out the speed it would take another 61 days. So it would take 4 months, 4 MONTHS if you're the best player in the game, and don't spend gems on refills. Now let's bring the equation down for the general audience. Let's just for a minute assume that people can hit 100% winrate in gold 1. That means that you will max out both bonuses in half a year. Now that isn't really realistic because most people can't hit gold and neither can they hit a 100% win rate. So let's look at an ultra realistic scenario. People easily hit silver 2 at a generous 50% win rate and they are free to play therefor we can assume they won't buy refills. This means that first of all you can't even max out the stat and secondly you will get ONE stat bonus for all dungeons and clan bosses to level 6 in 90 days. ONE STAT BONUS TO LEVEL SIX IN 90 DAYS. 1/4 of a year. And i'm being very generous here and it doesn't even account for all the time wasted waiting for your opponents to pick and do a turn. It's badly designed, it's a waste of time and the carrot you get to torture yourself with any of this is nothing compared to the time that you could invest cleaning out your gear and do anything else more meaningful in the game. The only real way to play live arena is concede 3 times get an easy bot win and concede 3 times again. But this would even further prolong the process of getting the stat bonuses by so much that it's not even worth doing for such small margins.
Yea the 100% ignore defense is nice but realistically unobtainable for majority of the players so who gives a shit anyway. But i can't wait to see the videos you make on it, I'm sure it will be some record breaking stuff.

I would be interested in an analysis of how you should prioritize CD vs Ignore Defense bonuses for champions that don't have ignore defense. For example, there is no way for me to fit an Ignore Defense nuker into my FK Hard team.

I’ve always heard ignore defense is multiplicative not additive. HH has always said the same and HG centy too.

Area bonus lol. Live arena is the biggest p2w content out there. Not worth the insane amount of time it takes to lose 95% of drafts.

das ignore def from the area bonus works on warmaster /giant slayer ?

Since I reached gold in live arena, all my medals have been going to ignore defense for Hydra. Thanks for the vindication. I prioritized ignore defense over speed

I rated Ignore Defense as highest value because its only available on gear. I then rated Accuracy and Resistence since the required numbers for those things are static. Since those are static, it frees up stat budget that I feel can be better spent for things like speed and crit dmg.

You can also use cruelty for the extra 15%, on any random champ, it is I think just a 3* epic blessing for true damage on anyone (provided they have a 6* blessing)

I think potion keeps were added because they will hard hard mode in the future

im completely focussing on hydra. so far maxed out speed and close to maxing out critdamage, ignore def is next. I like it a lot sofar.
I just wish sanddevil and shogun counted as potion keeps. Or iron twins.

I did ignore def. & crit dam for cb, went from 28mil to 36-40mil damage. There were other upgrades as well. But still

I hate live arena, hate it.
I use every token every day, free stats are free stats. The area bonuses are likely the easiest way to progress your account, it is so important to get it done. Even if you hate live arena, suck it up, accept you are going to lose quite a few and just get it done every day. I am part way through gold 1 at 3264, I don't have any meta champs. Doesn't matter, get in the games, do it every day. Some days ya win 8/10 some days ya win 2/10, doesn't matter, get in the games, get the free stats. Takes 30 minutes or less a day, just get it done.

Have 5 areas of speed maxxed, working ignore defense next.
