I discovered a creeking sound while turning the steering wheel during a tight three point turn manuevre. It was very disturbing at the time, and my first thought was that something was fouling the steering mechanism.
Further reasearch revealed a series of videos about creeking ball joints on the upper control arm for the suspension mechanism. However the symptoms, while similar, are not identical.
1 Week later I got creeking sound again and I was able to 100% reproduce the problem, following some investigations.
The sound appears to come from the brakes rather than the steering or suspension mechanisms.
The question is: Is this normal, fair wear & tear, or a warranty defect?
