I am European, and I've been to America and have driven cars there and I must say, the only thing American cars win in is Sound (even though it is not necesary, like on vans and so on), other than that EU WINS at everything❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьWe dont have safer cars, but more expensive.
ОтветитьThe orange flash indicator on the site between the frontdoor and te front wheel , on both sides from the car. ,is a by law indication if you drive with a trailer, in the Netherlands. It makes sense in the dark, that it is possible the car pull a trailer .
Ответитьwhy you talking so much between the films
ОтветитьIm in Holland and drive a OBS Silverado 97 with red blinkers on the rear. No problem. Now the yearly check requires the orange front corner lights to be white.
Rest of the car is okay here. Lot of usa cars in Holland. Mostly running on LPG (liquid petroleum gas, as im wright)
I'm not a driver at all but this is the sec one i've watched today. I'm like you say the US plates are more fun but ours are way more functional. Plus our plates stay the same from productionday till demolition day. Way easier to check the history when buying 2hands. 😊 Not Just Bikes had a very interesting topic about cars 2. These Stupid Trucks Are Literally Killing Us. Mabey worth checking. 😊❤
ОтветитьYeah the "Subaru" the totally american car.. not sure why you used that as example haha
ОтветитьEuropean here,we want to put to our cars the US spec sidemarkers, red turn signal în the back,it's more sexy, nice looking, kinda like the forbiden fruit 😉,and I love the US plates format more .
ОтветитьShould license plates be fun though? xD I still get amazed everytime in the U.S. and see sooooo many cars not having license plates in the front, and then in the back they're so cluttered due to the state design so they're hard to read. Can't be good when you're trying to catch the plates of that gate away car or the drive by. ;P
ОтветитьI get the feeling some of the things americans "prefer" (such are break light indicators) they prefer them because "it's the american way" not because it looks better or makes any sort of sense...
ОтветитьIt's not so much the turn signal but if you have hazard lights are very easy to distinguish from red brake lights or red hazards
ОтветитьI can't stand the American style rear turn signal lights. A flashing brake light??
So confusing and annoying.
Personally I prefer EU license plates cause they are meant to be practical not decorative.
ОтветитьPretty much the only cars with orange rear indicators are those that are built/designed outside of the USA (Subaru is Japanese for example)
ОтветитьIt's absolutely unbelievably that anyone could think that American cars are better xDDD
ОтветитьAsk yourself a simple question to rate US built cars.....how many do you export?
ОтветитьI really hate and don't get that "objects appear to be closer bladibla" text in the mirror. Why is it there? Why is it not in the manual and be done with it. It's just stupid.
ОтветитьAmerica just has lower standards. In health & safety, in build quality. It goes all the way. The cars America hopes to sell in the rest of the world, has additional orange lights, I guess.
Ответитьdude I can't see the face of that guy wtf he is so black he absorbs all light
ОтветитьThis no offence but this makes you look stupid. But i wouldn't know. but I think its more a money grab from your police especially since they'll charge you over nothing more accidents more money
ОтветитьWhy is there a difference i don't get it wouldn't it be cheaper to have all same spec
ОтветитьI drive a Chevy Astro van in Europe and the lights on the front suck on the other hand European lights are about 30% better
ОтветитьNedeland is crap
ОтветитьNothing about safety. All of it is horseshit ...I'm from Europe and they test the pedestrian safety during a crash ,screw the driver. They expect once you hit a person with the car that person to be cured of cancer...this is the kind of stupidity that gets you a Mustang to be "less" safe than a Dacia which is a chicken shed compared to a Mustang. 90% of the cars that go through IIHS small overlap test failed because nobody is testing that shit here so yea he can talk forever about amber lights...that's not safety.
ОтветитьRed Fog Lights if high intensity are nothing whatsoever to do with 'Rear Visibility' that is a Nonsense. They exist to let following cars know much earlier that you exist ahead of them.
As to License Plates, they are not there to be 'pretty' or 'works of art'. They are there to identify a vehicle, hence it is a crime in the UK to use non-standard Plates and only certain businesses can make them to a fixed spec, including Font, Size and Spacing. ANPC (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) Cameras, which infest the UK, would not be able to deal with the various Plates in the USA, and since they highlight criminal or stolen cars to the Police who drive around, always watching, is a very bad thing indeed
Positive feedback 😊
ОтветитьFrontplates are required for the European speedtraps😅 We don't have that much cops
ОтветитьEuropean license plates are so big because most traffic violations are monitored through cameras and therefore need to be so big. US plates can be so small because police actually stops vehicles as it is a moving vioation. Comign from The Netherlands and living in the US I was happy to get rid of these ugly big plates.
ОтветитьI prefer American cars to European or Asian cars. I love Ford
ОтветитьThe US plates are the coolest, I have a small German plate 40cm 👍🏼 original they are 52cm
ОтветитьI was on holiday in Canada last month. I was really surprised that North America doenst have any yearly required MOT checkls of the cars like we have in the EU as well. Example: If your car is nothing more then rust it will not pass the test and repaires are required. The local garage is able to do the check up every year and the government random picks a car and rechecks then to see if the check was done properly. But that is only so now and then. The check up makes the car saver and better maintained so less accidents with death is caused.
ОтветитьIn Germany it is forbidden to use the rear fog light at heavy rains
ОтветитьFog and low visibility conditions don't exist in USA and Canada, that's why there wasn't a need for rear fog lights. The more you know.
ОтветитьThere is a loophole when it comes to American speccs. Atleast in Sweden. If you had a house in USA and moves to Sweden and you taking your car with you. You don't need to EU-specc it. The car counts as moving goods from one residence to another residence. Seen some american cars in Sweden with red turning lights and US-specc on them, so that means the owner moved that car from their former residence in USA to a new residence in Sweden.
When they selling the car in Sweden, you still got the "moved from US residence" in the car registry and that means you can have that car US-specced legally.
Also, old american cars and European cars where the amber didn't was on market you still can have the US-specced car without amber lights. All cars from before 1976 doesn't need yellow/orange/amber lightsignals in the back in Sweden atleast. I think this counts with the EU-laws as well.
i don't understand why some european cars when they go to US they have the red turn signal, why not just leave the amber lights?
ОтветитьWhy does the US not change the colour to yellow? if it is safer and the rest of the world does it... what stops you to safe live?
Ответитьgerman Spec cars
ОтветитьIn Sweden if the car is older than 1976 it can use red turn signals
ОтветитьI own a 2003, Mercury Maruder with 43,000 original miles. The back seats have never been used. It needs a clear coat, two body clips and rear air bags. Otherwise it is in mint condition!!!
ОтветитьIts not "Good graphik design" when it inhibits the function of a license place. The place is a functional item
ОтветитьGrowing up in Sweden I loved watching American TV-shows like Hunter, Hill Street Blues, MacGyver, The A-Team and many more.
And I loved seeing all these American cars with the square quad headlights, all red taillights, blue and red lightbars on police cars and all that. It was just so exotic and cool!
Later as I got older I learned all the backsides of those typically American car features and that in most cases the (to me) boring lights and details on all the cars I saw every day in Sweden was actually a lot better and safer.
But I still preferred the American cars just because they were exotic and looked way cooler.
Yeah, the visibility and signals are better, that's great and all, but which car would you rather be in if you got into a crash? Yeah, the Grand Marquis.
ОтветитьLets be honest the usa is brainwashing people in saying the usa is the best and we have the most freedom bla bla bla....please wake up and realise europe is so much better and smarter. Not just with cars also health schools infrastructure ect ect
ОтветитьEurope invented the car, the US made rubbish out of it, that's why we in the EU don't buy US cars
ОтветитьNow compare to the Brazilian 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьI agree with you about the registration plates, I own a 2010 camaro with a swedish small reg plate, it is only allowed to american imported cars and mc:s.
ОтветитьGerman Licence plates, for instance, have a specially designed font so that 0 and O are visibly distinguishable etc. Its a cool thing
ОтветитьHe missed the most important difference is that europeans design cars to protect pedestrians during collision. European front are designed to cause less harm to pedestrians if they get hit
ОтветитьAs a European, with some classic cars. I love the american look. So with red brake/turn signals and in the front the orange
Ответить
