Can You Delete Threads Account Without Deleting Instagram Account?

Hi, I tried this several times but the threads badge keeps reappearing on my insta profile even after deactivating threads profile and hiding the badge in insta multiple times. Is there another way to delete only the threads account permanently yet?

i deactivated my threads but i still get notified new people follow me. i go to deactivate it again and i get errors. Its buggy af

I think threads messed up my instagram app, I can’t post stories or reels on IG from the phone threads is installed on, it just crashes every time I press next, threads needs a lot of work 😢
