don't cook the eggs, wait for them to hatch and then cook the fish that came out 💀
ОтветитьThanks man. That spreadsheet is amazing!!
ОтветитьFirst, plant a jellyshroom then, u have ♾ power for ur bioreactor
ОтветитьMight be 5 years later, still, extremely useful
Ответитьdid you tested the chinese potatoes?
ОтветитьAI heard that cooked peepers are been better
ОтветитьI have my base really close to the shallows where Acid Mushrooms grow in massive numbers, and I just so happen to have Deep Shrooms and Gel Sacks growing in an outdoor garden right above the room where my Bioreactor is. Thanks a bunch for this, I'll have to try those out.
ОтветитьI throw in any fish that overpopulates my tanks
Ответитьcuddle fish egg better
ОтветитьAlien Feces >>>
ОтветитьPersonally, I think lantern fruit are easy to go with. U don’t need much to farm them, and 1 tree can produce a lot of the lantern fruit.
Ответитьi just use kelp for the bio reactor as its easy to farm produces alot of power and it takes a while to be used up
Ответитьas soon as you get alien containment, you'll never need anything other than Oculus to fuel the bioreactor. Grab around 4-5 in the jellyshroom caves, which are quite easy to get to as long as you have a rebreather and a seamoth, then if you just slap two on the alien containment and two on the reactor and by the time you need to refuel they'll already have grown to almost 10, and then rinse and repeat until you have way more oculus than you know what to do with
ОтветитьI throw blood oil in there cause im in a location with a lot of blood oil
ОтветитьI don't care, the cuddlefish is going in
ОтветитьI just put 2 farm beds in the same room and drop potatoes in there. That way they're easily accessible, they can provide power at a moments notice and they can supplement the solar in the surface base, and I can replant the excess seeds right after (not to mention acting as a potential food source). in the lower levels (e.g. lost river and below) they provide enough power for my scanner rooms and they're easily accessible. My primary base has a nuclear power plant though and I created 4 spare rods just in case. A little time consuming but it'll power 4 water desalinators, 2 moon pools (1 for prawn and 1 for sea moth) 3 power cell chargers (to recharge my cyclops at a moments notice) 2 battery rechargers a scanner room, and the regular weird stuff we would make comfortable surroundings with e.g. vending machines. I remember the fun I had with hull breeches putting glass ceilings on all those multipurpose rooms at 450 depth. LOTS of reinforcement needed.
ОтветитьThis is a major problem for me. No actual numbers of power used by each module, or item. I started using Peepers, then found Reginald and have them in a containment to provide fuel and food.
ОтветитьI’ve hear cuddlefish eggs are good fuel too—
ОтветитьThat’s surprising! I tried putting lantern fruit in my bioreactor but it always seemed to run out very quickly
Ответитьthis seems to be... usefull. but for expanding base it's better to have 2 multipurpose rooms one with bioreactor adn other with empty nuclear reactor so you will have capacity for 3k energy
ОтветитьGreat work, thx for that really nice info what is a good firewood^^.
Ответитьtexas
ОтветитьI love this guy and he deserves more
ОтветитьI use the melon seeds as a good option because while farming for the food, it is easy to get extra seeds that you can put into the reactor, doesnt gove much, but it ends up being very plentiful source of power
ОтветитьAs soon as I get the alien container unit, I'll always get crabsquid and crabsnake eggs, grow them, and then use them for the bioreactor of Im still using it that late in the game
Ответитьwhat usually works perfect is putting an interior grow bed and growing lantern fruit
ОтветитьShould I use lantern fruit for outposts?
ОтветитьSpicy Bro thx!!!!!!
ОтветитьHuge respect for your efforts to be able to share such valuable info for us players, not even the devs share such. Thanks!
Ответитьwont stop me using all the cuddlefish eggs
ОтветитьJust got the game thank you for the detailed information
Ответитьfuel stats spreadsheet link broken
ОтветитьOfc put fauna is better option .
ОтветитьWhats a reginold?
ОтветитьBro my bioreactors are nuclear reactors.
ОтветитьThanks, I will now use 6 bio reactors as giant batterys in case power runs out.
ОтветитьIf you have two creatures from creature eggs they can breed it make more eggs (btw very helpful)
ОтветитьI use cuddle fish
ОтветитьJust grab a bunch of fish and throw em in there.
ОтветитьI've just been using deep shrooms and wondering why my power generation sucks. Thank god for this video
ОтветитьI know it's a bit late, but I've recently started up a new Subnautica playthrough (never finished it), and your vids have been a very useful source of information for me!
Great work and thanks so much!
I basically just go for reginalds. A 3-room high alien containment with just reginalds in my main base supplies all my cured food demands (food to bring with me), and supplies 2-3 bioreactors depending. I use a single growbed with fruits/veggies for on-site food. Anything more is a waste of space. I use a similar setup for secondary bases, although the reginalds are mostly not a food source in other bases and only get 1 floor’s worth of containment. Still enough to power a reactor or two easily.
ОтветитьI like to breed cuddle fish and use them
ОтветитьGreat spreadsheet! Thanks man
ОтветитьDo your Subnautica Videos apply to console versions as well as PC?
ОтветитьI'll stick to the acid mushrooms then. A little gardening couldn't hurt! Thank you for the informative video!
ОтветитьI use the young penglins
ОтветитьEveryone knows a cuddle fish is the best bioreactor fuel
ОтветитьInstead of using the power cell charger you could have placed loads of solar pannels to up the maximum possible power then just put the base in the jellyshroom caves or anywhere with zero light
Ответить
