I updated serato sample to 2.0,but it doesn't work in my older projects.

When I load up an older project then it doesn't see my previous samples, and just show "load sample"

Meanwhile if I roll back i can see it still recognise my samples.

A bug? I've used serato sample for a while so pretty crucial for it not to remember my used samples.

i use serato sample 2.0 on my macbook pro 14" with m1 max and 64gb ram within my mpc software. but everytime i use it, i hear crackle sound issues in my speakers which make SS2 useless for me. do anybody have the same issues and know how to fix that??

so i downloaded serato sample 2.0 and when i installed it, not only did 2.0 didn't come up - but the old version didnt either. am i doing something wrong with installation? i tried the repair, i tried removing it, and nothing seem to work. i had to re-install the old version (for the old version to work again) >> laughing!!

Serato Studio is free pretty much gets the job done very similar

Other than stem separation. Is there anything serato sample does that the sampler in MPC doesn’t do? A video on this might be interesting.

I don’t know if it is just me or what but I can not use serato sample. No matter how much I want to I have been at about 50% of it getting tempo and key of loop correct (even when it is labeled in file) smh. MPC key detection & bpm detection have surpassed it at about 80%. And mixed in key live about 95%. Am I missing some settings or algorithmic changes or what?

By the way stop advertising your sample packs, because with serato 2.0 your drum kits are going to be ridiculous.

Serato already allows me to play my records with Wav files. I'm very happy!

I bought serato sample a couple years ago with 50% off discount i bought it for 49 dollars instead of 149 dollars which is the regular price, Glad i bought it back then, saved myself a 100 dollars.

Nice vid as always however that “key lock” is why the music is sounds all of that simple these days. You don’t get passing tones and so on. You also don’t grow as an artist in my opinion. I get it though. That’s all part of this generation

from my observation its worth it if you really want to manipulate samples and chop easily, that random chopping feature is cool. When you have your chops or loops ready to go in serato and ur ready to make the beat you just drag serato in the playlist right? you dont need to export the chops?
