In this Google Ads 2023 Smart Campaign tutorial, we are going to compare Google Ads smart campaigns to Google Ads local campaigns. A Google 2023 smart campaign is nothing more than a scaled down version of Google Ads 2023. Formerly this product and service was known as Google Ads Express.

What is so great about the Smart Campaign service? It’s a lot a lot less cumbersome for a business owner to set it up than the regular Google Ads 2023 campaign. There is some automation built into it so you don’t have to be actively managing it. This is also known as Google Ads Local campaign but definitely different than Google Local Service Ads. Those have to do with Google Screened and Google Verified. Something completed different that Google Local campaigns. Smart campaigns also give the business owner the option of using a landing page if they don’t own a website.

In order to set up the campaign Google smart campaign from scratch you need to define some of these following smart campaign attributes

Objective: Create a campaign without a goal
Campaign type: Smart
Landing page: business profile or website
Pick an advertising goal. For us, it is Website sales leads
Next is Google Ad headline and Google Ad description. These two things are extremely important for success with Google Ads we will cover these shortly
You need to insert keyword themes; Like estate planning lawyer, estate plan Covina, wills and trust in Los Angeles
Then you need to include the location. For today we’re going to be using a radius targeting today
Then of course the budget which we are targeting $15 a day.
Finally we need to review everything in this Google Ads Local campaign

Three headlines. For the Headlines you can you look to 30 characters
Two descriptions. for the Descriptions you’re going to use 90 characters.

One strategy in regard to the headline is not to always say buy- buy buy, flip it around and ask a question? Another one is to spy on your competition (with a tool like Spyfu.com) and then also use data from existing campaign.
