ОтветитьI watched Schindler’s List for the first time yesterday. I have seen many movies that make me cry and made me sad. But that movie…It really changed me in some way that I can’t describe or put in words…Everything about that movie is so…beautifully dark. It’s so brutal and real with what it depicts which makes it even sadder knowing that it is based on a real man and a real, cruel, unbelievable, disgusting thing that actually happened. The way that it is filmed makes everything seem so gritty and dirty (similar to what Saving Private Ryan does) It makes you truly feel like you’re there around all of these poor people who all get brutally murdered. You see such terrible, heartbreaking things that really shock you with how brutal they are….But again it is showed in such a weirdly beautiful and unique way. And the ending especially is so heartbreaking yet hopeful. The mix of knowing that so many people were killed but this one man made it so that so many people could live and have lives and families all because this one man tried to be a good person. When Ben Kingsley’s character was telling Schindler about all he’s done and how many people have been saved and will eventually be born because of him…It is so powerful. I had tears streaming down my face for most of the movie but the ending had me hysterically crying. I was almost wailing I was crying so hard
