Seems like the Leopard QE/CI from Leopard isn't working in Snow Leopard, I'd imagine it would run way faster if you installed the old Leopard Radeon kexts in there because there'd be GPU acceleration

I remember I "upgraded" from Tiger to Leopard on my MDD Dual G4. It became an instant slug. I had to wipe the drive and reinstall Tiger. I never even considered trying Snow Leopard. It was the first time I had upgraded and had the system actually slow down. I remember on my Intel Core2Duo mac when I went from Lion to Mountain Lion it was a big jump in speed. Since then it's pretty much not noticeable for the most part. I haven't installed Catalina yet.

Snow Leopard did have a few useful new features from Leopard, like dock expose, recovery of disk space, improvement of stacks, and pretty much every built-in app is much faster. So I guess it's still better to install Snow Leopard on a PPC than Leopard, if there are no major bugs.

You should've re-renamed the disk to "Snow Leppatz" at the end!
