When it comes to FL studio there are many ways for work flow. There is nothing wrong with adding a reverb directly on the Master channel or lets say the instrumental bus. The reason though that I make effect slots and then route effects like reverb, delay, and dublers to other channels and then bus them is that I can quickly mute the Effects channel or quickly lower the level of all effects from the bus. Plus I can route many mixer channels directly to the same type of reverb instead of opening a reverb on each mixer channel with the same setup. This also cuts back on cpu cost. Having basic tools setup by default on the mixer channels like compressors or eq's allows for faster audio processing. For example, I know what level of input I need for the vocal compressor and what eq settings that will give me the sound I want off the bat. After I am done recording the vocals I get a general basic sound and I can quickly fine tune the eq or compressor later if needed. Same goes with drums, melodies and such. Now I just need to add some reverb on the vocals, delay, whatever the case I may want and fine tune to my liking. Lets say I dropped the drums then the melodies, I fine tune each mixer channel and then I lay the vocals. Later I fine out that all the melodies are way to loud. I use the melody bus to quickly lower the volume for all the melodies I used. I got a low rumble on one of the synths and other melodies so I open up an eq on the melody bus and roll off the lows. Now my bass is cutting through clean. No need for eq on every signal melody part unless one needs it. Later I find out that that my hihats are just too loud. I find the hihats mixer channel and lower that.
Ответитьrouteing is what we do in a mixer!
routing is what happens to armies on a battlefield!
You have a Mathew McConaughey "s", very schmooth 😎
ОтветитьI use Separator for the spacers
