Ответитьavoid m-audio at all costs. They don't update their drivers, and their products, after a few years will have a myriad of problems. I bought an m-audio 192 6 about a year ago, and at the time of writing, it's roughly 2-3 years old.
With that said, I've had constant problems with their horribly incredibly insufficient driver, and it breaks constantly, completely interrupting my workflow. Sometimes it just won't play, sometimes it will have a weird 60hz drone over everything, and I've even had to stop producing completely in order to restart my computer from this god-forsaken thing. It's practically e-waste.
I would have known all of these problems earlier, if it weren't for the fact that the official m-audio website gave me a 404 error the first time I tried to download their drivers, and only now has it been fixed. Using their driver is such a pain that I don't recommend anyone buy anything from them ever.
can you tell me latest mpc as from akai or rode caster pro 2 can better then these and work as full fucntional audio interface?audio mixer, streamer, podcaster, midi effects controller? can we use for full music production is they replace all ? or not
ОтветитьThese studio monitors are not under $100 in Australia
ОтветитьBro I Suggest M AUDIO AIR 192 | 4 For Beginners ❤
ОтветитьPresonus Sounds Good
ОтветитьNot gonna lie the mackie sounds awesome
ОтветитьGreat comparison 👍
ОтветитьWere is the cover?
ОтветитьHow to connect midi keyboard to solo audio interface this one...??
Ответитьthank you for making these videos, you make my life so much easier <3
ОтветитьHi, first of all I wanted to congratulate you on your videos.... Really interesting, well done and educational.
My need is for live use with my band. 20 years ago I was using a pc with a m audio firewire 410 with which I used to manage stereo backing tracks, drummer clicks + vst instruments played live, all driven by cubase.
Now it's been 20 years (in which I've been away from gigs) and I'm undecided on what to buy.
I have 3 macbook pro's at home so I could use one of them for audio.
I don't need to record: I just want to be able to manage backing tracks and simultaneously play vst instruments live (using main stage or gig performer or something... I'll have to look into that too).
So I'll need at least 4 outputs (using the backing tracks in mono on one channel and the click on another channel + 2 stereo channels for vst).
The idea is to get a soundcard that I can then also use in the future if I decide to switch to ipad (to lighten up the equipment).
I also need to connect at least two keyboards via midi, and this I could do by adding a usb hub.
I also need traditional midi inputs because I have an old keyboard that doesn't send control changes via USB but only via the midi outputs (although I could probably use a midi to USB cable).
Currently what sound cards do you feel like recommending for the use I need?
Thanks in advance
Thanks for running these down--love the side-by-side comparison with your actual voice, but I think it would helpful to give us like a second to just listen to the signal so we can hear the noise floor by itself.
Ответитьwhy are many reviewers in a hurry like a fire somewhere? they never pause to let me hear the noise for a few seconds...
ОтветитьI've been having so many issues with my studio one interface. And so has my friend who has the same exact one. She ended up throwing hers out and getting a new one and I'm about to do the same thing
Ответитьhi... I have a question Edward... do they have USB ones not only XLR's?
ОтветитьAudient , Native instruments, mackie (mackie best), presonus, m-audio. Art - some noise...
Good preamps , without noise
Arturia - bad preamp
Tascam - many noise
Uad many noise
Focusrite - many noise
Sorry but none of these is good for Fl studio?
ОтветитьI listened to them real close.. and I never had the a sonus but the sopnus 24C seemed to be the clearest out of everyone
ОтветитьA more accurate title would be Best Audio Interfaces under $200 as almost none of these are $100.
ОтветитьThanks a lot :)! I am doing final research
ОтветитьGreat list, but I'd be happier it was listed as "around $150" because only one of these is actually around $100.
ОтветитьAre they all the same in trums of just listening to music?
Ответитьhalf of these had pretty noisy preamps, I was very impressed with the volt, it had a little noise floor but was very pleasant, But the Mackie was insanely clean and pretty pleasant, The Evo 4 was also amazing with almost a silent noise floor. The Native instrument was pretty good but sounded a little fuzzy to me in the voice which I thought was strange. Tascam was really noisy, so was the mini fuze 1. The presonus just sounded nasally. The M-Audio was pretty good too. I keep listening to this over and over with my Beyerdynamic DT 177X plugged into the THX 789 at a higher than average volume. And I feel like if I was going to make a purchase out of this list I would buy the Mackie just based on the very clear and pleasant sound. Thank you for the video.
ОтветитьOnly issue I have with the Focusrites is the red color … I know it’s weird, but having that red box at my desk just bothers me (daily)
ОтветитьSsl2 is the way tongo
ОтветитьIs there one that I can easily plug in 4 USB mics into ?
ОтветитьI had problems with previous tascam 4x4 so will avoid them. Now I have PreSonus Studio 24c which is great value/$ but would NOT buy it again since it has very quiet inputs. I also had Focusrite Scarlett which was great in terms of plug and play.
ОтветитьFrom past experience I had with Tascam, I think I will stick to work with that brand, I really need an interface upgrade since my old US144 no longer works on recent OS (it worked great for the past 13 years! Great Quality) but for me it's important to have midi inputs, thank you for making this video, it helped me a lot.
ОтветитьHey man do any of these have the ability to send a click track to the headphones and not to the main out when connected to iPad?
ОтветитьM-Audio got the lowest pre amp noice by alot of al of them
ОтветитьArturia mini fuse 4 or Komplete audio 6 mk2?
ОтветитьSir,both Universal audio volt 1 and audient id4 mkll are at same price in my country. Can you guide me which one I should buy ?🙏
Ответитьwhat's a headphone input ? :D
ОтветитьM-audio 192/4 👌
Ответитьquick question, the komplete audio can run 250ohm headphones?
ОтветитьGreat video, influnced my choice. I was going to go for the safe bet of the focusrite but in the end you showed some other options and after furtuer investigation I went for the UA Volt 2 paried with the rode podmic. Hopefully this turns out to be a good pairing.
ОтветитьHey brother can u tell me which interface is good for shure mv7x I'm using Scarlett solo 3rd gen but i can't get enough gain, I'm planning to return it or should i go for Audient iD4 (MKII) or SSL2 or MOTU M2 im planing to live stream please help me
ОтветитьUniversal audio perfectly 👌
ОтветитьIt’s not “Onx”. It’s pronounced more like “Ah-nix”. But you don’t seem to be a native English speaker. So no big deal. Just thought I’d point it out.
Excellent video.
bro doesnt know what under means
ОтветитьMine is V8s, be warned that all of its ports are 3.5mm (including mic input) + no phantom power meaning you need to get a separate one.
ОтветитьMotu M2?…
ОтветитьAt this price point, don't waste time just get the lowest in your location. The difference is not noticeable after recordings. No one can identify the AI used in any song. Creativity matters most
ОтветитьFor an iPad setup… would you recommend the focusrite or the evo interface?
ОтветитьHmmm.
Tascam and Arturia have the noise during the whole record. ART USB i hear a noise coding issue at the end of the record and a bit during the whole record. Volt and Scarlet have a bit of noise during the record too. Especially Scarlet becomes noisier with the AIR mode. NE Komplete is clicking. Audient Evo sounds good but i sense some kind of noise reduction which lowers overall quality.
As for me the great and clear sound has ONYX. M-Audio is a bit better than ONYX due to i hear more of a low register.
The better you hear the audio examples, the more distortion that preamp has!(provided they are level-matched) I was actually blown away by how bad the presonus here is. On the other hand, distortion is not always bad if you know what you're doing...
ОтветитьThe ART was definitely a surprise! lol
ОтветитьWhich of these has less noise? And which has more gain?
Ответить
