Theres VhS version with old script - luke, i em your father. They redid the line later
ОтветитьI always remembered it “No, I am your father” but people would argue it. One of the most famous lines in cinema, and everyone gets it wrong.
ОтветитьYeah, but Luke definitely shouted "CARRIE!" in Star Wars, no matter what Hamill or Lucas says.
ОтветитьSeason 1 Episode 2 of the show “My name is Earl” there’s a scene about 10 mins in where Randy asks an old man who sounds like Darth Vader… Hey! Say “Luke I am your father”
ОтветитьWhy is this happening? Are the making these edits just to fuck with us? Or is something greater/larger at play?
ОтветитьOriginal releases have the “Luke I am your father” line. Not Mandela effect, just a change during the releases that Lucas kept doing
Ответить👁️ am your Father . The power is in the words, wake up
ОтветитьDarth Vader: Obi-Wan Never Told You What Happens To Your Father Luke Skywalker: He Told Me Enough He Told Me You Killed Him Darth Vader: No I Am Your Father Stewie: Say Whaaat?"
Ответить“Luke, I am the father”
ОтветитьDamn I always remember “No, Luke. I AM your father.”
ОтветитьStar wars was big in my high school (some 20y ago). We had movie nights and we were all running around proclaiming 'Luke, I am your father'.
ОтветитьTheatrical public release version says "Luke, I am your father." The first uncut version put on a limited remastered version has the original unedited "no...I..am your father." I didn't know this until I looked it up.
ОтветитьI remember him saying "No Luke i am your father"
Ответитьi think they edited it out in some version of the movie because i was watching an old recording of this scene and he did say "Luke".
ОтветитьThis isnt a mandela effect. There are theater reactions from the 80s to this scene where vader says "no luke, i am your father." I came here just to say this cause i just watched one and heard it and i remenber this being called a mandela effect.
ОтветитьDoes nobody know about editing for remastered releases? The original was Luke, i am your father.. New releases are No, I am your father.. I have the original vhs which is luke and the dvd which is no... This Mandela Effect is gibberish
ОтветитьFor me I 100% remember everyone saying “luke I am your father” on the playground, at home randomly, in social settings etc. but I never actually watched the movie until late 2000s. So I personally believe it’s one of two things happening:
1. The Mandela effect as most think
2. So many people misquoted the movie cuz “Luke I am your father” was just easier to say in random social situations to be “funny”. And then people mass remember how people misquoted it as opposed to the actual line
even though there is a Jackass in here Mocking the Mandela Effect Idea, I clearly remember him saying Luke, not "no". Just like most people.
ОтветитьSo I'm one of them that slipped from a different reality to this one... doesn't surprise me.
Ответитьnan !!!
ОтветитьEven James Earl Jones says he said “Luke I am your Father”!!!
Ответитьi just watched a 1980 cinema reaction, he did in fact say luke. so why is this altered?
ОтветитьThis isn’t the Mandela effect, in the older versions he says “Luke, I am your Father”. They just changed it.
Ответитьi remembered it as "luke, im ya daddy"
ОтветитьGuys, if you think "no luke, i am your father" was just a false memory, youre wrong. Search up "i am your father in cinemas 1980". Darth vader says the exact words "no luke, i am your father".
ОтветитьUhm, they doesn’t sound like James Earl Jones.
ОтветитьEven in the movie tommy boy chris farley says "luke i am your father"
ОтветитьSay whaaaaatt...!?
ОтветитьYall watched tommy boy. When hes talking into the fan going loooliiileeelloooluuuukkkeee luuuukkkeee i am your fathoorr. Thatsbwhy you remember it that way. The movie never changed
ОтветитьIt's crazy cuz even James Earl Jones remembers the line as "Luke,i am your father",so not only we.
ОтветитьI remember it was No Luke,i am your father.
ОтветитьConclusive proof.... I no longer trust reality and a linear timeline
Ответитьidk im 30 years old and a huge fan of star wars, but i remember this scene rly well and it did say luuuuuukee,i am your father
Ответить🙊
ОтветитьS6. Ep22 of the simpsons at the end, darth-vader comes in a cloud and says Luke I am your father. Mandela effect changes aren't thorough and if you look hard enough you'll find inconsistencies.
ОтветитьI clearly remember after Luke said “He told me you killed him,” Vader saying “Hey, not to change the subject, but did you know they were actually called the Berenstain Bears, not the Berenstein Bears?” THEN Luke said, “No, that’s not true! That’s impossible!”
Damn Special Edition ruined everything!
They edited the lines. I just checked the video of the first cinema reaction and he actually said "No, Luke, I am your father", so mandella effect is not true in this case, they are just messing with us
ОтветитьIt's been edited. It's "No Luke, I am ur father." They just cut out "No Luke" mystery solved!
Plus my version has Luke saying. " Yo mfucka! U owe some Child Support $$$!"
It’s not like Starwars is known to change things in each movie every time they are rereleased. It must be a Mandela effect 😮
ОтветитьITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE ITS ALL BECAUSE PEOPLE DONT REMEMBER THINGS CORRECTLY!!! YOU ALL THINK YOUR HAVE SUCH GREAT MEMORIES BUT IN ACTUALITY PEOPLES MEMORIES DEGRADE JUST LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE BUT NARCISSISTIC IDIOTS THINK OTHERWISE KEY WORD IDIOTS
ОтветитьMorons
ОтветитьI thought it was a combination (No, Luke. I am your father.)
