It’s disturbing on a 999 call to have the operator say they will get police out to talk to her mum and she says she does have to go out. It took the operator to say her daughter was 14 and she needed to wait for police for her to agree. The operator was more concerned than her own mother.

Late to the party I know but I have NEVER heard of this poor girl's case before and in fact I initially misheard you and thought you said Milly Dowler, which reinforces the idea that her class and background meant the police wrote her off and relayed that lack of interest to the press .... this is absolutely shocking and shameful. Karen has been caught out lying due to contradictions. During the Channel 5 documentary she claimed the police lied about her not reporting her daughter missing until days later. However, during the police call audio Karen admits she should have reported her missing on the day she disappeared. So, the police didn't lie. She has said on many occasions that she is 100% sure the men who went on trial for her murder are guilty. But during the documentary she says though unlikely it is possible she could still be alive and might return home. But how if she is 100% dead? There's a difference between saying she hoped she was alive and saying she could be, despite claiming she is 100% dead after hearing the audio recording of the accused in court, in which they apparently admitted to killing her (in the audio I mean).

I'm going to say this about the judicial system: they do not value the lives of children! Our judicial and prison systems are completely broken! I'm so sick of hearing how horribly the agencies are failing the most vulnerable of our population!!!! The government is spending billions on illegal immigrants flooding through our boarders (I am not against immigrants coming here. I started smoking and drinking really young. I have young parents for my age, but had a relatively stable life. My friend's didn't. My parents assumed they had rules and that we were watched. I think i smoked pot before drinking which is weird because drinking is so prominent in the culture here in Wisconsin. Kids can drink alcohol in Wisconsin as long as they are served by their own parents 😂
