center of gravity can really make things harder to do. the guys center of gravity is their upper torso, while the girls is down at their hips. they'd both be able to learn each others routines but it'll def be difficult.

I just get the impression that women’s gymnastics require a higher level of coordination but a lower level of muscular fitness, particularly upper body. Although it does seem like women like Simone Biles who dedicate time to that fitness perform better.

That mushroom circle requires incredible upper-body strength. Can you support the weight of your body with one arm... no? Then you can't do that!

At my gymnastics place, almost everyone does a front flip off of the trampoline into the foam pit, especially on higher places

They just haven't practiced these exercises in the gym before. That's all. The whole secret is in experience and skills.
