Nice comparison vid! I acquired Alicia Keys recently, hard to move on from it once I start playing, sounds intimate - I'm also a big fan of some of the other pianos in the NI range. Cheers

Otherwise a good comparison. Keyscape sounds very good but Alicia Keys works a bit better in the mix. Maybe it's the type (Alicia Keys is more of a pop piano).

Since 2020, I've been using Synthogy Ivory II Studio Grands as the best alternative. I'm a keyboards-first musician, and hear the difference. It's about as real as it gets. These other choices are also good (especially the instant varieties possible with Keyscape), but Ivory is recognized in many circles as #1, and I concur. Price point is in the $250-300 range. I also question the application of the sustain pedal in these examples it's muddies the subsequent phrases unnecessarily which taints the comparison somewhat (I know that's a bit over the top, but worth mentioning for the next time you may do something similar). Thanks for doing this...I'd like to hear Ivory II Studio Grands in the comparison next time, too!

XLN Audio also has two great pianos. The Addictive Keys Studio Grand and Addictive Keys Modern Upright. Both very good. Oh, and AIR makes the Mini-grand, as well. So many plugins, so little ca$h!
