The 1st time I came to Paris, I stayed 7 nights. I thought that was a minimum to see the sights and museums, wander aimlessly through the city, relax in parks. If you book a longer stay, you won't regret it.

My sister and i have a cousin who died in the war and is buried in Calais. We have a trip planned to France next fall. Part bus tour (Insight) and partly on our own in Paris. Would it be easier for us to get to Calais for a one day trip from Paris or would it be easier to hold off and try to get there from England. Looks like the Chunnel from London would be easier which would mean we would have to wait for another trip to visit his grave site. I believe the Canadian site is in Calais vs Normande.

Certains se promènent avec des centaines d euros alors que la carte bancaire est acceptée partout . Et s il vous plaît ne jouez pas au bonneteau vous perdrez a coup sûr ne signez aucune petition ! Paris is NOT safe at all with all the migrants, Africans and muslims 😂

As a french citizen, for gratuity I would say that even if service is included, it is a bit stingy to leave nothing at all. A normal service would deserve 1/2€ and good service would deserve +3€.

Just don't go to Paris, there is so much better in France

I think you should tip any server and €1.00 is quite mean. €3-€5 would be more average. In Ireland we dont have a tipping culture like USA but we would still leave a tip as a thank you. Even in a bar if a lounge person brought you drinks you would give them €2 per round or maybe €5 at end of night.

I wanted to thank you both for all the tips. We went to France for 10 days and were in Paris for 4 of those days. We moved around the country by foot, train, rental car and uber. So many of your tips helped us. We found the French people to be very welcoming and the food was awesome. We now want travel there again along with other places in Europe. You both really have helped us and will continue watching your videos as this one just made we realize we should have got an Orange sim card. Our biggest frustration was phone service. We were told by our carrier we had text and data but ended up having to buy a 10 service so this sim card may help next trip. Thanks again

Paris is very clean and safe. I did not come across any rude French, which I was expecting. But they simply were not there.

One question… can you two join me and my wife? We’re leaving for a wedding in Antibes in early September and then off to Paris for four nights. Your videos are fabulous! I’ll be tuning in A LOT over the next few weeks. So wonderful. The last time we were in Paris was our honeymoon, September, 1990. I think our hotel cost $300 a night then. I called them, $2,000 per night! Wild. Thank you for your help!!

Happened to me once at the cdg airport. I wonder if taxi drivers speak English, a french lady answered nicely"some do some don't, ask them or show address where to go". There was a younger man stood nearby reading his newspaper addressed to me " vous etes en France, parlez francais!!!!" Oui monsieur, je parle bien le francais et je peux facilement communiquer ici.
Hahaha! He gave me a funny look.
But french people are cute, in a way.

I would not advise people to use an airport money exchange as the exchange rates are always terrible in an airport ! — if you need cash, use the ATM, always.

That aside, one aspect I would like this video to touch base on is prescription medications. I can’t find a straight answer on how to bring my Adderall prescription legally — personal amount, original bottle, note from doctor, but then other sites say you need a travel certificate, or you need a copy of the original prescription, etc. it’s confusing 😢

As a parisian i think every tourists that come to Paris should see your video about scams and things to know before going here. I would also like to say that Paris is quiet safe for local, less safe for tourists but still very safe. My best advice is to always be aware and to detect weird people around you ib touristic spots like museums or airports
