A lot of people are mere companions not friends.

I’ve realised that mates who hang out in large groups rarely actually like most of each other and wouldn’t hang out as individuals.

It’s better to have a small group of good friends than loads of mates (over time this FOMO can still happen but the real ones who are worth it remain loyal- that’s not to say you can’t both have other friends as long as you don’t deliberately leave out one person with mutual ones).

I fight with friend which i know for 10 years, we dont see each other for.years because both of us work abroad. Finally we were both home contry for couple of months and he prioritisized another friends and didnt call me at all

I started to see my friends having parties and going to restaurants together without me on their Instagram stories and when I asked why I was not invited, they said they didn't think I would like it... 3 months later, they were not even talking to me and a year later, we are not friends as I can see

The worst things is when they have a group chat without you
