People should be told before they buy something that's too complex for the general public, ALL AGES to cope with. We should get a "beware of the complexity" warning. My grandmother kicked her brand new ROKU TV out the window and then stomped it to death.

Step 1 worked to make my usb port read my external hard drive! It fixed a screen that came up where the media player app told me to put my external hard drive into a new format. I knew it was wrong and step 1 fixed it on the first try. Thank you!!

I have been without Roku for a week, called Roku. After trying several things, nothing worked so they will send me a new remote. Just saw video , I unplugged Roku and waited 30 sec. It came back on and is working perfectly! Thank you so much for your very helpful video!

Got this TV yesterday. It worked fine but today it's not working. Remote doesn't do anything. Stuck on a screen that just says onn. Roku TV. Home button doesn't work. Can't turn off. Unplugged and started over. Yes I changed batteries.

Aug 24 2023: Two Roku 3 units have black screen. Restarted multiple times, swapped HDMI cables, TVs, power supplies, internet verified OK. This video does not address this issue. Going to try Factory Reset. -> Factory reset 3x per Roku instructions, still dead, black screen.

I had woken up today and like white streaks came from the bottom of the tv then now my screen went entirely black and I can’t fix it I’ve tried unplugging and hold on if you’re expecting a good ending there isn’t one, none of these fixed it I hadn’t thrown anything or broken it myself I woke up and white streaks began going up my tv they start disappearing on black screens where darker areas are which led me to believe maybe I left the tv on too long? Because when you turn it off the whole thing about a roku Is that it tries to stay on at all times but idk fml
