Me: slaps about 25 industrial purifiers into sanctuary river and straps them to a heap of noisy generators...sleep a few days...grav water from ws, sell and profit. Rinse, repeat. Takes time but it's infinite caps

Short sighted. Combine the water space here with the crop growing potential of Abernathy farm and build an adhesive empire. You will be the glue that holds the commonwealth together.

how did you manage to get rid of the cow corpses that are laying around ?

Good to start with until you got resource lvl and perks get a fusion gen clears up alot of space as well also looks really nice with how you put the purification in but with the stone walls dividing them you lose more space to put loads more in but each to their own and it looks good.

I built a water farm at sanctuary and I make a lot off that lol

I'm late to the game, only started 3 weeks ago but I've got 150 hours in and loving every minute.

Late to the game, I know, but why not use the boathouse as your power shed? Or do like I do and put a fusion generator in the busted up attic area?

Its what i done in almost all my setttlments, than i deletet my 3years of gamplay exedently, i was lvl 93🙈🤬

I love settlement builds in places like Taffington Boathouse or Hangman's Alley because the idea of turning a house or alleyway into an impenetrable fortress just scratches an itch in my brain

who else is playing this game because the current games just are garbage

Nice work in the past i have just fixed up the house correctly... Had enough of that for a while so i scrap everything and build a new house/building. Directly on the water...

I'm not much of a builder...no imagination for it I guess. I just put in the basics for about 20 settlers: food, water, beds and defense, before I invite settlers in. My trade hub is Starlight Drive In as the bramin like the wide-open space. My home Base is Sanctuary because it has all the workstations from the get-go. For Defense I use mostly the small MG turrets with an occasional heavy turret until I get to around 100 defense, as I seldom notice when a settlement is being attacked. When I am in the mood and have the necessary guns and armor, I outfit my settlers with combat armor and combat rifles. Eventually I usually use almost all the settlement places in the vanilla game, primarily as a place to drop off scrap. If there is enough room, I put in 3 scrapping stations and 3 bramin feeders. In the larger settlements I also put in trading stalls. I don't really collect and horde caps as they keep building up naturally. Except when trading I tend to walk away with all the trader's caps. For trading I usually trade away guns, armor and ammo I've picked up while wandering around along with extra food and water. I'm basically just a lazy wandering sniper that seems to find fights around so many corners.

Pretty close to what I did. The settlement isn't big enough for much, but it has lots of room for water purifiers and some stores.
