ОтветитьSuper awesome, thank you.
ОтветитьIt's ok that the Sandbox is only for Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise. I use Sandboxie!
ОтветитьAwesome, may I ask where you find all that info? The Sandbox feature is great!
ОтветитьWell done, Leila Gharani. 😁
ОтветитьWhat a lovely tutorial with plenty valuable information! Thank you soooo much! I am a bigfan of your channel! Best regards from Germany!

ОтветитьAs a new windows user, this video helped me a lot. Thank you!
ОтветитьSnip and Sketch is my favourite. But you have also recommended Share X in another of your videos which I think is similar. Which one is better? Thanks
ОтветитьBut i'm upset about explorer which has no ribbon.
And i continue to research how to return it back.
To snap one window only i use Alt+PtrScr and paste it in document. I do it since WinXP.
ОтветитьOnce i've turned on night light i didnt switch it off at all. :)
ОтветитьThe first thing you have to teach your parents is to open Quick Assist. :)
ОтветитьSound too low?
ОтветитьSuperb teaching presentations.
Ответитьlove Snip and Sketch
Ответитьthanks you are great
ОтветитьAmazing! I had no idea about most of these and I can already tell a few are going to make a huge difference for and my colleagues. It's crazy that in a group of intelligent professionals using windows computers for at least 40 hours a week, there was still so much we didn't know!
ОтветитьI've Office 2013 on Win 11 , I've only Administrator Ac .and I've No other User Accounts & I've No Microsoft Accounts . plz Suggest - Should I download Contents Online and do other Online Activities & Should I use OneNote online in Office 13 ??

ОтветитьWindows 10 is a piece of crap. Whenever I buy a computer and there's a windows10 installed on it, I immediately press FORMAT THIS WORTHLESS CRAP
ОтветитьGreat work here! Thank you for your clarity and descriptions for the content in this video. I learned so much in the short time that I watched.
Ответитьyour super sweet thanks for the amazing info.
ОтветитьI use many of the tips already but I really liked the Quick Assist and Clipboard History. This could come in handy for my work. Thank you
Ответитьat me home hol you ipad
ОтветитьOne favourite of mine is COLLECTIONS. I use it to bookmark so many websites; articles, recipes, etc. I set up many main heading categories.
ОтветитьWhat happened to the “PIN” feature? I mean, pin a website url to your desktop with a little icon. I used to use this a lot.
Great video! ❤
I dont like using the windows copy history feature. For a couple of reasons. One is that it is a point of vulnerability on windows for hackers (and microsoft tracking), to have a record of copy history. Malware can read it, and probably so can microsoft. Two, every time you turn off your machine and back on again, your copy history disappears. There is no retention across machine resets. I dont like syncing across devices either, since I have no interest in sending my data over the internet, or having microsoft scan my data, or store my data anywhere I dont know about.
I use a small piece of software called Ditto instead. Ditto is a completely free clipboard manager (they rely on voluntary donations). Everything you copy is stored in persistent memory. No limit on the size of your copy. They offer you a search feature. Keeps meta data on when you copied. Its a relatively niche piece of software that has no ties to microsoft, google, etc. and that malware programs probably wouldnt be programmed to scan. It also comes in portable executable form, so you can carry both your clipboard manager and your copy history with you to other computers if you wanted. It has ran reliably on every windows since XP (when I first started using it), right up to 11.
Some new things I learned here. The virtual desktop and focus assist will be very handy.
I've always used the snipping tool, and later snip & sketch. However I do wish they came with the ability to type text. My typical use is to take a shot of something, put an arrow on it, and one or two words (drawn on with a clumsy bad handwriting mouse), and then shoot it off to someone or something. If I want to have proper text, then I have to resort to firing up Gimp (slow and cumbersome), and using the tools there.
If I could be a faster screenshooter: Start screenshot program --> Click/Drag area to capture --> Type Text --> Draw Arrow --> save to clipboard --> shoot on teams/outlook/<insert program here>. 5-10 seconds from thought to communication. That's what I need.
thank you
ОтветитьEven after working as a windows expert for 2 years, I could learn something new here.
Would like to quote from a comment below: "Fantastic Leila. No fancy multimedia intro, no annoying 'background' music tracks. 'Just' lots of useful information, presented in a clear and calm manner."
Thanks
Ответить🤍💚💙

ОтветитьThe clipboard trick and the quick assist amazed me. Wow!

ОтветитьI setup my print screen to bring up snip & sketch - makes it even easier.
Ответитьfrecking awesome. Thank you!
ОтветитьWe love you Leila. Easy captive speech. and just knowledge coming out more and more over time. And for a mathematician this is paradise.
ОтветитьIf you have Windows Enterprise, you are probably in a work environment and will have the windows features settings locked down by your system admin.
