What kind of finishing did you use?

Noe, when I see how little material you leave on the neck, I'm always convinced that you didn't leave yourself enough material. I'm thinking that one slight mistake and you have to start all over again. Yet every time you seem to nail the neck perfectly. I'm not a wood craftsman, but I would imagine that you must have thousands of hours experience in making guitar necks to be that confident. Kudos to you. 👍👍

Wow O Wow that is a Beauty

I'm sure glad I didn't win that Beauty cause I'm just a beginner player & I could never do it justice. As a former Woodworker, I can appreciate ALL the work involved, especially the hand-sanding And what looks like freehand Router skills-amazing! I especially liked the "taping 2 pcs, of thin stock on the back to edge glue". That trick will save someone a lot of time. AND the luck to have a small pc. of the most beautifully grained wood to use for the top layer. I knew it would turn out amazingly cool soon as I saw it after the Bandsaw cut. KUDOS!

The top is very nice but the back is terrible. All compartment covers do not have the correct grain because they did not make a veneer from the block to begin with. In addition, all wood screws are hardly countersunk.
