Joel's Dialogue Changes Whether Abby is Holding a Gun or Not

I think originally Joel asked her "you know how to use that thing?" but it was changed because modern society cannot bear the crippling "s3xism" of a joke. It might've not been this scene but he definitely said something along those lines

Just thinking that if Abby never knew Joel’s name, she never would’ve killed him and the story would be a lot more happier. 🤭

Joel became a truly kind and caring man. Being in the safety and security of Jackson made him more calm and relaxed. When Ellie was angry at him he didn’t argue he just waited until Ellie was able to forgive him.
Joel had found and saved many people in the outskirts of Jackson and became more trusting towards people and more optimistic. We lost Joel when he was the kindest version of himself.
RIP Joel. My favourite character.

It would be more interesting if, like when you shoot Luis Cera in RE4, he shoots you and ends up killing you with the Game Over Scene XD

You know what annoys me. You think she be conflicted about killing him and having regrets over it. I mean the dude did save her life. I would be having second thoughts,I’d even ask him why he did it. I would have been fine if they wrote that in. No instead they went GOLF CLUB GOES BURRRRRR. It would have gave it more depth if he said it was to save Ellie. So she can actually reflect with her relationship with Lev. It would have made the game at least bearable. Especially if she said at the ending to Ellie especially when she is getting taken down by ellie when she was bound “I understand what I took from you and im sorry.” Like come on naughty dog. I could have at least wrote a better story than you with adding that one detail. It would have made Abby more sympathetic and likable if she had actual regrets killing Joel. No one would hate her as much

It makes me so mad that he legit saved her life and she IMMEDIATELY killed him. Like didnt even have a second thought ab it even tho he saved a random stranger he could have just left

I like it when games acknowledge what the player does or when the player already has something. it makes it feel more real. or just funny in some cases

They would be a badass team with Ellie. I don't like how the story turned out, but it is still an amazing game and despite all that the story itself does not deserve that much hate.

Naughty Dog really dragged it with his death. The LEAST they could've done is given him a peaceful death.

NB: spoiler alliert!!! I was really trying to give The last of us 2 a second chance and open mindly go all in that it is ok for Joel to dye. It is so many ways for the plot to be better but no, insted we jump back and forth and making a mess for the player I hate games like that. Game experience should not be jumping back and forth in the story, because when you finnaly are in the plot it ends and forces you to a different place. Tv series or a movie it is Okey for a bit but not for many hourse

I haven’t played the game, but the biggest reason is that it doesn’t feel the same. What my favorite part and most iconic bit about the first game was the joel and ellie duo, to take that away in the second game makes you feel as if you’re playing some spinoff game like Uncharted Lost Legacy

This is why I could never warm up to the “sympathize with Abby prospective.” Joel killed Abby’s father but then saves Abby’s life, and she uses him and tortured him to death- she’s lost most if not all moral justification- even if u never played LOU1.

Then ellie fujcked her instead of killing her. superb game
