Is Amazon's choice e-scooter any good? HIBOY S2 Review / Xiaomi M365 Pro clone!

Own two Xiaomi's (M365 Pro and M1 Swiss edition). Aftermarket front shocks were a cheap and very effective upgrade (about US$45 for a front suspension unit, delivered). The control module was also a cheap upgrade (to vers. 3, which provides more torque) after long use and a required replacement (price $30). Lastly, essential to use SLIME sealant for the tire tubes, to prevent/minimize chances of a flat.

Both a terrific scooters for my older teenagers...but underpowered for someone my size (6'1; 230#).

I have this Scooter, but my Headlight is top mounted and Display also the App are different.... so I think I have the 2nd generation.
I got mine last week and rode it over 5 miles to/from work.

Are you or anyone reading this comment have issues with battery life? It's advertised at 17 mile range but Im not getting anywhere near that. Honestly I feel like I am getting 3-5 miles maybe. After using it for maybe a mile or 2 the battery indicator goes down to half way. Does turning it on and off often maybe cause a battery drain? I had them ship me a new battery and still the same thing.

Just bought the iScooter 1S for $209.00 delivered almost same exact thing as the Hiboy, but the 1S has regen breaking. But no side lights either.

I would buy a product made in Europe or North America (hiboy is a Spanish company) over a Chinese based brand any day. China is the absolute master of cloning things . copying, ripping off however you want to put it, I would say the Xiaomi is the "clone" not the other way around and China is basically the enemy of the western world but we all suck up to them because they manufacture so many crappy but cheap things..... I regularly pay twice as much for things made in Europe or North America just to avoid buying anything from a Chinese company . I am sure Hiboy has plenty of parts made in China but at least it is not a Chinese company like Xiaomi

You need to review the Hiboy S2 pro. This scooter is amazing for about £450. It Upgrades just about everything that u criticised. (This is my personal scooter)

Actually it goes 24 highest, But I’m only 70 and these people put much more weight on it than I do. The scooter is great!! I got it for my birthday, and my family loves it so much!!!
Worth the price!
