DJI Mini SE - Follow Me Modes & Waypoints - Litchi Review | DansTube.TV

I can’t get the mini se to connect to litchi and when I research it I find that Dji don’t provide support in their SDK for the se (whatever that means). Any idea how I connect it to litchi? Very frustrating cos I love the drone but need it to have more features.

The app is available on android play store now for £25 .I have a mini 2 se with a mini3 on the way .Is it good for both ?

DJI Mini SE doesent have Follow Me Mode

I have the Mini SE and would like to buy more batteries. It's very confusing, but am I basically just buying Mini 2 batteries for this drone?

So it does have the waypoint & follow me mode? I'm in the market for a drone this mini SE is in my top 3 but since I couldn't find this info I've been waiting to buy.. does it also have the GPS location if it gets lost to find?

I want to learn more about the course part in follow me mode so I can get it to face me especially the zoom facing me that would be great

Ok the app I’m using with my DJI mavic mini se does not have the option to follow or waypoint. DJI fly app. Do I need a different app for this to work?

Can you make the drone focus on a subject while going through the waypoints?

Great Video! Lot's of good information as always. I was wondering if waypoints could be created while flying the drone in real time? Getting the exact position you want and then just clicking the screen where your drone is and adding a waypoint. Thank you Robert

Very cool upload. So following mode would work best with trail riding a dirt bike with trees etc? Would I just need to put the controller in a backpack while I ride?

Great drone, just loved it, bought mine last month. But yesterday, i had my controller fully charged and with 2 leds left, it started to sound for low RC battery, 1 second after i brought the drone back and shut it off, the controller shuts off. Idk if the controller needs some calibration but its the seconds time this happens... Last time it happened while on flight and the drone returned automatically. Luckly i was able to turn the rc back on and land normally but then it shut off again... So weird

This is a really good app but it is $25 on ios, which is really hard to justify

Judging by the negative comments on the Litchi app for the Mini ect Ide stay away from it. Too many people losing their drones trying out this app and lots of other issues. Just not worth the risk.

Wow!!! Personally I would never run 3rd party firmware or flight control modifications to DJI products especially from a no name like Litchi unless Litchi provided at least a $1mil liability insurance policy with the price of their app. If it screws up your flight control and you wind up injuring someone or destroying property the lawsuits or criminal liability could be enormous. The other option would be to having DJI test and officially sanction this app. Other than that I think anybody that uses software like this is grossly negligent.

Would be killer if they released a standalone tracking app to allow to have multiple POI in track mode. As someone who likes filming multiple subjects while out on the water. Having an app on everyone’s phone would allow me to track multiple jet skis without having the controller on them. Not easy to waterproof. Lol.

Best video I found since I bought my Dji se. Just bought the 25$ app. Hope it’s the right one. “Litchi for DJI drones” Can’t wait to try it out in the morning.
