Wow widgets are finally here in macOS, surely it hasn’t been used in another operating system for pc… yeah totally…

I can see only my Mac battery and it doesn't show my other Apple devices on the battery widget.. anyone know how to fix it?

feedback: you go through OS features, then new features for apps, and then new OS features again. I use Chrome, so Id on't care about Safari features, for example. So I think it's better to group the OS features and app features separately.

The gaming section seems to be the biggest. Game mode seems dope, and the accessibility for porting games onto mac will change everything

I never ever really use any of the new features when this stuff comes out. I don’t use calendars, do presentations, use Apple Music, hardly ever use notes. Anytime I upgrade, it feels just like the same OS I’ve been using.

To be honest, I never use most of the widgets and the new features in each new iOS just get buried in my mind. I care more about the basics running quickly and smoothly

The design is slowly turning into a colorful and blurry blob. The sense of visual progress you got in leopard or Mavericks is just gone.

The vast majority of these features have existed in Linux, especially on the KDE desktop, and Windows and Firefox for a long time. Apple isn't really introducing much that's new here.

Maybe the best new feature would be to remove some feature from bloated iOS and Mac OS.

I want to see performance optimization, bug fixes, driver optimization, kernal optimizations, better file manager like Forklift 3/4, and more compatiblity and performance with legacy applications. More specially, my Mac is a Audio and Video workstation. We need a mode for Home Use, Office Use, and Workstation Use with optimizations for each.

Oh lord please let gaming mode be a thing that devs take advantage of. I am on the verge of buying a windows pc just for playing some racing games. Even tho MacBook Pro M1pro I have is fast enough. It just doesn't work with games like Assetto Corsa paired with a Logitech Wheel 🤞🏽

i just bought my first ever macbook and was thinking about how tragic it was that i couldnt have widgets on my desktop. Good to know that issue is being fixed almost immediately after i buy one.
