What If Lil Peep Was Still Alive?

Great video about one of my favourite artists.
what amazes me about Peep is the amount of music the dude made in the short few years he was making music.
I’ve got over 150 songs on my Peep soundcloud playlist and I’m still finding songs to this day of his that I’ve not heard before.

lil peep was white excellence and we are very lucky that he made hundreds of songs before signing to a jewish label which ultimately killed him so yeah

We say it all the time but he’s the definition of “gone too soon”. I was caught up with Xans and this scene back then but slept on Peep tbh.. I realized after maturing, I just couldn’t listen bc he was too real for me while I was going through addiction in my younger years. If I had tapped in when he was still here, it would’ve hit different! That’s why I fr wish he was around to see his art, but see him grow. Shoutout to everybody that’s on the other side ✌🏼🖤🫶🏻

I wish Baby Boy would have found a Mentor that have would have helped him like Yelawolf or Doobie or Outkast!! He was so unique and being Gen X, his music and lyrics woke me up and touched me and it's been so long since music hit me in the gut like him. He was real. I just wish his manager would have found him a mentor. Big Boy from Outkast could have really helped Peep. His talent was so true. Yelawolf could have helped Peep. All he needed was some help and I believe he wanted it

He was a rockstar. He woulda completely skyrocketed to the top. He was gonna get rid of his entire management live in London. Be around people who legit cared and loved him. Ain’t no way he wouldn’t have become the face of the new age sound. As famous as Eminem was when he first came up. Lil peep woulda been even more of an icon. With technology, social media, the internet. Dude did a tour overseas and the entire fan base and audience he had come see him, the people that traveled to come see him was all because of the internet. Since the beginning his fame was world wide. A small glimpse into wat he was going to become. Dude became a legend in less than 2 years.

I don't think anybody can judge... Everybody does shit to cope with the shit you going through! If Lil peep was still with us it would've been amazing he would've taken music and art to a whole other level!

He clearly just loved making music, never caring about mainstream shit and just liked being himself through his music. Sad truth is his death really did grow his fame, and got Tracy more attention from his grieving too. In reality though the underground scene he had was enough for him as long as he was reaching out and helping at least one person.

He is still alive, the base character is masquerading as Jake Paul now days

Many artists especially punk rock was underground and it was the best, I would have loved to see him in a different era like the 80s playing in CBGB's in the city or in london, no doubt he would still be famous, he if wasn't killed, his producer is to blame for that day on the bus, and everyone that ignored him, walking by him, and they saw he needed help, but yes he would have rose from underground and did a few huge concerts,

He would be getting features from a lot of artists like you said young thug and gunna etc he was already on a track with wiz and juicy j lil peep was talking about getting sober as well, lil peep would’ve been on XXL 2018 ,,lil peep would of been on top for some time I dont know if he could keep that consistency mainstream and I believe his music would’ve evolved into something greater he literally made his own genre I remember lil peep didn’t have a million followers before he died he didn’t get a chance to see it but of course followers skyrocket after his death I seen him in concert MISS YOU PEEP RIP

What made peep so good compared to most other emo soundcloud rappers was his songwriting. It's not everyday you find any artists who's music is exactly like them and evolves as the artist evolves as well, and that's not even taking account how well their songwriting can play that out. Peep was just someone had completely perfected that craft, he knew who he was and was aware of his problems, and he was what he put into his music and his music was him. And that's why I think Peep was one of the greatest artists of the past decade, he knew exactly what he was and wanted to do with his music and that's what made him so special in my opinion.

I'm one of the many people that found out about peep after he died. I think that if he had collabed with a big artist around 2017 he would've blown up similar to how he did post death. Dude had a really unique sound that's just now becoming more mainstream almost 6 years later. Just like xxxtentacion, I get sad thinking about what could've been.

No doubt I believe he woulda been a huge star by now, despite that ppl started listening to him more after he passed away , he was already on the verge to shine.. He just had a unique style and the ability to change his flow. I think he woulda Collbed with artist like post Malone, Joji, $uicideboy$, just to name a few.. “RIP”

People WOUKD have embraced his evolution of sound because the reason that people resonate with artists like Peep is because they don’t care about being cool. They simply put their heart and soul into their craft. People love real because it is real and it connects with them on a deep personal level. Again people would have continued to love his music through his evolution of sound because of the same reasons they loved him from the start.
I remember that day he died and I had just discovered him a few months prior. I was closely watching his instagram that day because of the video of him trying to get pills 💊 into mouth. It sucks because we all know the people around him knew what he was doing yet nobody watched him. Someone should have been there. I even saw a video of someone going to check on peep and they just let him be because he looked asleep. However if you notice in the end of the video as the person opens the door to the bus to leave or check on him again, the camera captures an image of peep laid back on be couch in the sitting position with his head laid back mouth open. In this image his color is lifeless. He was already gone and someone was right there and just left him. If they would have noticed and used Narcan on him. Peep would still be with us
I am sure others of you know what I am talking about and who was there with him. In my opinion that person dropped the ball. Ultimately it should have been his managers responsibility to make sure their artist was ready for the nights show. If they had done their job. We would be doing an album review video and not this video

broowww sometimes I also think what would happen if he was still alive, well in my view, he would be almost as popular as Post Malone, he would collabed with artists like Uzi Vert, SuicideBoys and internet musicians like Mr.Kitty. DAAAMN JUST IMAGINE, what would happen from 2017 to 2023, he could have tiktok account, and maybe even be more sober that ever. But it is all just IMAGINATION, I feel like he is born to die young, like there is no way he would write songs sober and have a normal family, REST IN PEACE TO THE BEST ARTIST.

Peep was on the rise before his death, I swear I remember him having more than 300k monthly listeners pre death, I might be misremembering though. His sound was becoming more mainstream every project, he likely would’ve blew up past the underground. I don’t see him being as big as he is now, but he wouldn’t be limited to the underground.

Lil peep also wished to start acting and modeling at his peek, he already had loads of photoshoots and acted in a short film. If he was still alive, film production and modeling would have probably given him a bigger boost towards exposure. Yet again, I'm p sure peep would have had minor opportunities in the film industry due to his drug abuse.
