I think the only ones I haven't seen in western WA are the red polls. I love birds.
ОтветитьWe have juncos hoping about here.
ОтветитьIf you want to get your numbers up, come to South Africa ✌🏻 crazy amount of birds
ОтветитьHere in central /east Texas I started seeing Darkeyed Juncos early this year. They were here about a month earlier than they usually get here. I LOVE these little beauties!! They are all over the ground under my feeders!
ОтветитьWe've had a consistent pair of purple finches this year which is nice! Have only seen them sparingly other years (but also feel like I finally have a strong command of IDing them now). Didn't realize they were erruptive.
Only outer one we get on the list is Juncos, bud I'd add yellow rumped warblers, ruby crowned kinglets, and yellow bellied sapsuckers!
We have juncos year round here in western WA, but they are always a treat to see.
ОтветитьPurple finches and Dark-eyed Juncos are regular visitors to our feeders. No Pine Siskins or Redpolls this year so far.
ОтветитьI don't get tree sparrows or redpolls but I do get California Towhees so PEACE ✌️
ОтветитьThank you. I have all five birds visiting the feeders in my yard (front and back)
ОтветитьThanks so much for sharing another wonderful video like always
ОтветитьI recently saw a purple finch at my feeder.
ОтветитьNice overview of some birds you can find in winter. Well done. Greets Stefan
Ответитьmy my those dark eyed juncos - seems like every time they come to my back yard within days we get snow and then when it does snow they are so much easier to see - I really like them (river valley arkansas)
ОтветитьSaw all 5 of these birds on a eBird expedition I took at my resident lake , thanks for the information!
ОтветитьI've had them all at my feeders or in my yard, although the Juncos seem to be the most popular of the 5 during the winters here in SE MN. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьI love to photograph birds in the winter it’s just much more cloudy In the winter so not as great photos
